My husband and I enjoy using Joggles' stencils with the gel plate. You talked about how you "like so many things"; I, too, have varied and broad interests--and it shows up in my art. One of the things I truly appreciate about you, Denise, is your willingness to just dive in and your enjoyment while doing so. I think this attitude is what pushes folks out of the box--and being able to create something totally unique. Thank you again for sharing your fun-filled art.
ОтветитьI'm inspired!
ОтветитьI joined Skillshare and am doing your Klimt class. I am really enjoying it.
ОтветитьThis is the kind of paint I really love. Thanks ❤
ОтветитьI’ve been using the stencil burner for years.. there’s a bit of a learning curve, but does a great job. Just using outside because there’s an odor when burning plastic.. I usually make my stencil out of old transparencies or plastic dividers.
ОтветитьI love many styles and like too many things, too and have the same issues with colors. Just got the color cubes for all the reasons you named! Love your art and personality, Denise, thank you ❤
ОтветитьHave you ever used Crayola Signature colored pencils? They are creamy and write on black paper as well as over top paints and other mediums. I really like them.
ОтветитьAlso love this ❤
ОтветитьI have been watching the Klimt Skillshare and it is awesome. I highly recommend it. Denise has so many helpful projects and resources. Best class I’ve taken hands down.
ОтветитьHi Denise, I don't see the wedge you used listed. I can't find cardboard like the mark this makes and I'd love to be able to have it. Thx!
ОтветитьI just checked out your Skillshare Klimt inspired class. love his work (kinky thang that he was) It is DEFINITELY one I will be doing and have it saved. So comprehensive with all the aspects you have listed, books, gold paint comparison, design boxes. Girlll I can’t wait to have time to enjoy all that goodness. Thank you for creating it. ,,,
ОтветитьHi Denise! Love your videos, important thank you so much. My absolute favorite is your inner grunge. If you accept special requests, please do a few more with other color palettes. Many thanks for all you do.Cathy
ОтветитьHi Denise, love watching your channel you always lift me up and tell myself why not? It ok to just go for it. And ok already I have been wanting the color cube after watching your first video, you now have me convinced to get the darn thing already. You are one of my favorite creators. 🤙❤
ОтветитьDenise, this is a great idea, thank you!
ОтветитьYou are another me! I love this so much! Also love the abstract stuff, Klimt, modern farmhouse, and other styles mentioned. :) So much inspo!
ОтветитьThank you for the idea of using great artists to inspire. Great idea. I’ve got paper taped to my board and a note of products to try. I don’t have many actual watercolours but quite a few acrylics. I also have lots of spray inks and Distress inks that I can smoosh so am going to use a voucher I have to get a nice wash brush and get started 😀
ОтветитьYou are absolutely right. I love all colors and all "things" too and when I see a top I just have to have, for example,I have to get it in all the different colors because I never can make up my mind which one to pick.
So these color blocks are just about the most fantastic "things" I could have run across thanks to you. What a huge help they are they are. 🙂❤
Also, what did you say about a pen maybe that gave a raised effect, like embossed?
ОтветитьI do love working some Klimpt into a piece. This turned out great! And it's so fun to hear someone else who makes comments in various voices as they work. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love this! I think I have to take your Klimt class. Is the SkillShare class the same as the one on your website? Thanks!
ОтветитьHow did i miss this one?! Awesome!
ОтветитьReally love this such an inspiration and your interpretation is awesome
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant
ОтветитьLoving Klimt and how you've interpreted that style ❤ Really enjoy your videos always uplifting.
ОтветитьDenise, thank you so much for your inspiring words, I too have a varied love of different directions. You helped me be okay that I’m the way I am! So much gratitude 🥰💞🙏
ОтветитьHi Denise, yesterday 3/8/24 I pulled this same one out and mine sure didn't look like yours but did come out pretty cool in my thoughts. Going to watch this one again for more inspiration. 🤩
Ответитьalso, with the fusion mineral paints do you clean your brush in water?
ОтветитьGorgeous! 😍😍😍
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI love gold. I use it in most of my elegant paintings. ✨️😊
ОтветитьI love this. I loved Gustav Klimt forever. Hope you got to see the Gustav Klimt immersion exhibition!
ОтветитьYup... that's me 😂. Everything is my favorite. 😊
ОтветитьI’ve been doing my own nails lately and this makes me want to do my nails like this :-)
ОтветитьIs your class online or in an actual classroom and where?
ОтветитьI moved into my house, built in 1868, out of necessity in 1990. 2024, I’m still here, and like you say, we heat the whole 10 acres and neighbor’s yards every winter. No insulation, no double pane windows (no storm windows) I’m exhausted by it now at age 66.
ОтветитьBought the sets of cubes based on your enthusiasm. It is the "best ever thing" that happened in my 20 years of art! Works fantastic with gelli printing and collage!
ОтветитьWow Denise, Klimt is one of my favorite artists and this painting came out amazing and in a very easy way, you always inspire me, I need to try this because I ruined a nice undepainting applying gold leaf, it didn't work. 😅 Thanks a lot.😅
ОтветитьHi Denise. I just watched another video where you used a fine line container to paint gold spirals. I've just looked on Amazon and couldn't find it. Could you please direct me to the right place. Thanks! I actually just came across your site this morning by accident. And so glad I did. Klimt is one of my favourite artists.
ОтветитьFrom camo to actual Klimt. Love it! ❤
ОтветитьHave you had the chance to visit the Belvidere outside of Vienna? It's a palace that is dedicated to his works, which has been converted into an art museum. Since it still maintains its original windows, the setting sun can shine through, illuminating the gold in his work magically, it actually glows! It's a must see for Klimt fans around the world. I loved it.
Ответить👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🎨💕🇺🇸
ОтветитьHow beautiful! I’m wondering if you have to varnish that gold. Does it tarnish?
ОтветитьI love this. There is also a smaller book like yours for $25 on Amazon.
Which gold mica paint did you use?
More Klimt I liked you talking continuously... ❤ btw, I like the way you teach and also what you create so effortlessly...
ОтветитьYou are totally awesome, talented, and inspiring. Thank you!
ОтветитьBeautiful ❤!!!!!
ОтветитьThats my tutorial! Yeah! Thank you ❤
ОтветитьI love Klimt. Nice concept
ОтветитьI really love all your videos and what fits is, I am also a big fan of Klimt. I learned so many things in details. My fun of being creative and paints came back! Thank you so much! You are a wonderful inspiration and a great teacher 💯👍🫶🙋♀️
