What difficulty are you playing on? Its.noy nightmare due to enemy density and their general lack of agression. Hurt me plenty or ultra violence? I agtee that this game on anything but modified nightmare is much easier than eternal. You can make it hard though if you want. Try these and see what you think - turn up the damage you take to 300%, smallest parry window. Resources to the lowest level, dazed duration down to 50%, enemy projectile speed maxed out. You can up the game speed to if you want to 110 - 120. Have fun 😅

While still great this game doesn’t have the super fun and replayable combat loop of Eternal. This game is quite boring to watch content and gameplay of.

Just curious, were you playing with dlss balanced or frame gen on? Because 100 fps on dark ages is crazy

Honestly the most eh thing about the game for me is the projectile spam from all the trash mobs. Like your movement is neutred but enemies fire MORE oppressive projectiles that can block your attacks. If youre not getting shot in the back while trying to parry the demon in front of you, your shield is being broken by all the red peojectiles that are fired before the green projectiles. Base experience is fine but if you crank up the game speed and projectile speed, it becomes REALLY noticeable. The shield breaks way too easily to actually use it as a shield and not a parry button.

Every enemy is a marauder and theres like a 50% chance they're a carcass too.
