The best comparison...only two things, I thought a bit unfair for the Huawei, coz u put the Pro version which is more expensive than the classic one and in reality if compared with the classic it's the same or cheaper price (Honor version) as the GTR 2.
Also, the GPS from huawei is much better than Amazfit, it's faster n more precise. Now they had an upgrade which u can share ur activities in strava too.

Absolutely no review of the sensors in the watches 👎👎👎

GTR 2 the winner. It looks similar good (in classic version) and has much better features, like Alexa.

Great review, I am currently awaiting the GT2 Pro as here in the UK at least it has been reduced in price to £179 with an option of a free gift on top. The current choice is one from the following list: Huawei smart scales, some sort of electric toothbrush, a Huawei speaker thing or smart lamp. Well, I use this beautiful Huawei GT2Pro and the main reason why I bought this watch was the fitness programs which in my opinion suck. Very slow if at all responding time. I use a virtual headset in which I have apps like FitRX (a boxing program) and Beatsaber (sort of fencing). Both corresponding programs on the GT2pro don't react at all. For the boxing I found another program, called free sparring and it does seem to react on that, but fencing (in contrast to the GT2e) doesn't register any good heartrate. Never more than 79! Apart from that I like the watch a lot.

Hi. My experience is the following:
Bought two Amazfit gtr2 classic, worked only for a month both device had a same booting problem. Doesn't play music and in the end doesn't turn on! Its a common problem read some forums before you buy. I ended up buying a Huawei gt2 and gt2 pro.

Not sure how the GT2 Pro can be classified as a sports watch when it can't extend your data to Strava...

I have an I-phone 12 so as my research goes the clear winner for usage is the amazfit … Does anyone have any info on the Amazfit GTR 3 coming out soon ???

I'm gonna say anything about the gte because I never had it but I will tell you something about the gt2 pro and the ticwarch pro 3 gps because I have also have it. Now if you want elegance and battery life you go for the gt2 pro. For every other things go for the ticwatch.

I gambled with GTR 2 and connect it to my iphone.

1. Cannot use any watchfaces from the store (downloaded via Zepp). The watchface distorted
2. Caller ID not shown when receiving calls

Anyone has a fix to these? High appreciated it!

Here the gt2 pro price is around 190€ while gtr2 is 93€ so useless to compare watches if double price difference

Can you tell me what the "screen timeout" lengths are on both watches? Are any of them more than 30 seconds?

Michael another sugestión is to compare the HUAWEI GT 2 pro with the new Amazfit GTR 3 pro. Although I have seen that the heart rate track for Amazfit devices really is BAD. Not even in running or cycling. Thanks

Hey man nice video... I'm using redmi note 8 pro and planning on huawei gt2 pro... Only problem is does it have low resolution.. I prefer smoother resolution.... Also which is better trex pro or gt2 pro

For me the biggest win on the Huawei is Sapphire glass and a titanium case and ceramic back. Makes for a watch that should weather well. I am sure there are a lot of cheaper watches that will not survive long. I replaced the band with a steel band and it just feels good on the wrist.

Only thing that worries me bout Huawei is message notifications from all apps working properly

I have both of them and the annoying thing about the Huawei is there's no assistant built-in or available for download. The Amazfit GTR 2 has at least Amazon Alexa which works pretty well.

i feel like a more fair comparison is the gtr2 and the huawei gt2 since they have pretty much the same price

You should have choose the stainless steel version of gtr2 with leather strap just like you chose leather strap version of Huawei gt2 pro

I just received mine today. After setting up the only thing I can see is a circle with a blue arrow hand. Cannot hard reset. App does not work. The parent company’s primary focus is health data. POS in my humble opinion. Goes back to Amazon tomorrow.
