BUYER BEWARE - These headphones are awesome and super comfortable, I honestly love them. However, after less than 2 months of use, the adhesive on one of the earbuds started to fail and now the earbud can easily be pulled entirely apart and does not seat back together perfectly. No problem I thought it was 2 months so surely LG support would help, nope they want me to send in the headphones 1-2 week standard repair. Can't tell me for sure over the phone if it's covered under the manufacturer warranty, if it's not covered the repair would cost $45-$120, if I decline the repair I still need to pay them $20 to ship my broken headphones back to me to cover the 'diagnostic fee'. Super disappointing, I only wanted to go through the proper process because I'm not equipped with the right adhesives for the water resistance and I didn't want to void my warranty by messing up a DIY repair, but turns our the warranty isn't worth anything anyway so it doesn't matter I'll be repairing them myself anyway! Oh, and I have been avoiding using that earbud for about 2 weeks while I waited to hear back from their support team after my initial warranty form submission.

I have the Harman kardon HBS920, I like the clear audio and bass. I bought them probably 5 years ago, I absolutely like them and cannot find a good replacement (the only reason is because now battery last for 6 hours, I put glue now 3 times but still going strong). i recently bought the Klipsch t5 III but I still dont like them at all, the bass is better but it falls off easily. I see that LG uses meridian, is it good? How is the bass? Is it worth it?

Who better to review headphones than you Linus. You have been around a long time and been doing great reviews and I would like to propose a challenge. Can you please test out the Skullcandy Sesh ANC's and compare them to galaxy buds and apple earpods and other earbuds out there? We need to develop a universal earphone scale so everything can be compared.

Can someone tell me, I tried the plug and wireless (on PC) but the sound is very crackling in musics (kind of how the earbuds sound on sbc mode over bluetooth)
Any fix to that? how can I switch to better codec on PC when there is no software or anything attached to it?

(for bluetooth I simply switch to aac and it sounds very good)

I bought these earbuds a few months back and they are great! But there is one catch, They break after battery drains. Literally the right earbuds sound just goes to really low and the bass feels like its pulsating even when it is not supposed to! I have already returned them twice and now I am waiting for third ones, because LG isn't willing to return my money. If someone had this problem PLEASE could you explain me where is the issue and how it can be fixed.

Just ordered off Amazon to go with a Moto X30 Ultra, hoping for good things!

1 year ago I watched this and bought a pair. I have had to send them back twice for repair and just discovered, a week after warranty expiration, that the glue has failed again.

Not sold.

For people who love earBUDS, this has to be like one of the best sets out there. I can't use them cause after five minutes, every single pair I've ever tried to use gives me a headache (maybe I just have super sensitive cartilage tissue? who knows, but fact remains that's my experience lol)

The main thing I really like here is the BT Forwarding. I just wanna use my wireless Switch Pro Controller while having the audio in my ears and not bothering other people lol. I would recommend these for anyone who likes buds 100%.

Because of this showcase I bought these.. but I would NEVER buy them again! Here's why:

Microphone
During the FIRST phone call the other person already told me that it was hard to understand me

Touch functions
- You'll accidentally trigger the touch functions when you want to insert the earpiece into the ear: when you touch it for a long time, the ANC mode can be activated accidentally and you have to turn it off again in the app (!!), because you can only switch between ambient and ANC mode!! You cannot turn off ANC or ambient mode via a touch function..
- Also you should forget the single touch mode right away and deactivate it, because it will also trigger very easily if you want to "push" the earpieces into your ear a bit more (from time to time)(they otherwise hold very well)
- You can reprogram most touch functions, but you can't reprogram the "Long Press" for ANC/Ambient mode, wth?

ANC
At the train station (trains rushing by, stopping.. lots of noise), the ANC works really bad.. it generates a weird pressure with a lot of low frequencies.. that's unbearable on my ears. Very uncomfortable!

Bluetooth
When you take the Earbuds out of your ears, and put them together (they are magnetic and "wrap around" each other), the Bluetooth connection is still active. It doesn't deactivate until the earbuds are in the charging box. Very inconvenient and unnecessary; I don't want to carry this box around all the time! This was solved better in the OnePlus Bullets Wireless: As soon as the earpieces make magnetic contact, the Bluetooth connection is disabled.

And now the worst for the end: The equalizer.

The equalizer "LG x Meridian" is the biggest POS I have ever seen and heard since the invention of HP laptops with "Beats Audio". Very bad presets and two COMPLETELY USELESS custom equalizer "slots": they sound so much quieter than any other preset and you can't compensate for it by boosting every frequency (if you do, it sounds even worse). The only usable preset is "Treble Boost" and it sounds SOME neutral. The preset "NEUTRAL" sounds way too dull! No idea which person at LG is responsible for this POS..

Mission impossible mode

This is what my experiance with the LG Tone fp 9 was: In the second month the adhisvie holding the earbuds failed and LG refused to repair them since they said it wasn't covered by the warranty. I glued them back then a few months later the active noise canceling stopped working instead it was only static noise. And a few weeks after that the left earbud is much quiter than the right one.I then called LG and explaind the situation and they just said its my fault for trying to fix them even tho they refused to repair them the first time and reffused to honnor their warrenty. The worst costomer expericence i have ever had.

Best wireless earbuds for working out

I really liked these but I have used 2 different fp9 and both times the right one died -_-

I bought the tone FP9s because I liked the features detailed in this video. After 10 months, the left earbud broke in half along the seamline. They are under warranty but LG's customer service was terrible. Stay AWAY!

I ordered a pair and they were comfortable, but the right one was crackling out of the box with voices and any kind of high notes on a medium volume. Anyone else have this issue?

Great sound and comfort but these things become a nightmare with either one or the other bud not charging while nested in the case for long periods. Cleaning the contact points on the buds and the case doesn't seem to make any difference.

I watched this with the Fp9's in my ears that i bought a year a go.

I have an issue with my DFP9. Since yesterday only the right bud works. the left doesn't play audio, reacts to pressing of buttons or shows up in the app. Anyone had this issue and happens to read this comment? :D

These are great but the eargels are garbage. They pop off easily and constantly get stuck in your ear, just lost one of them because it brushed against my shirt and fell on the floor, disappeared
