The Esquimalt Anglers Boat Lunch seems to be a great place to visit and see those adorable seals. However, it looks like a private place, isn't it? Could you just walk down there?

I suppose this is more affordable than international travel? It is an economic inflation thing.

Hahaha I love you think we have time to enjoy the island.
Kinda lol but I'd say most of us.. " the locals " have jobs to be at and even the 20 minute drive to sooke is time I wish I had.
Now don't get me wrong I get to live here and sure it's a lot easier for me to go to that area and not have to travel to get here ..
But unfortunately it's very expensive to live here full time.
Vacation I'd assume is expensive but it's only for a limited amount spent and time.
I do appreciate the thought though lol I'm in Langford so I'm in one of the hidden jem areas that you drove through to get to sooke.
