i love a lot instrumental version, because i think his voice ruins the melody.

The instrumental is so much better.

I think Dougan's voice stands for much of the song's essence, and it resonates an understanding of music being more than mere candy for the ears.

And personally, this song reminds me of Yasujiro Ozu's film Tokyo Story.

THis guy deserves to be known by everybody. ANd visa versa

Man... what happened to Rob Dougan ? Furious Angels is one of the greatest albums ever made .... I can't believe he wont release more albums.. oh well =).

Iget this all the time n mymelodic deth metal stations. Like Childrn of Bodom and Omium Gatherum. WHAT?! Atleast its brilliant.

He made a song in 09 saying something about holding us off until he releases a new album.. the fuck rob!

His music, despite the genre of electronic/downtempo is also very melancholic and concentrated highly upon loss, apathy, desire for death and cease to exist, and such themes, commonly seen in funeral doom music. Sad Rob no longer releases music, I'm sure there would be plenty of labels ready to release it, most of them would even agree to artists terms of royalties. Very intelligent music.
