I tried listening to the audiobooks of these but I need to get better at the Chinese names, I couldn't follow too well
ОтветитьSwordholder is also what I call my girlfriends lady parts
ОтветитьI am interested in how they handle the wallbreakers.
ОтветитьI like this list; Thanks. 😊🎉
ОтветитьI'm happy this is explained for people who haven't read the books.
ОтветитьPersonally, I dislike "the Sophont," though probably not as much as I dislike Tatiana.
Ответитьthis is a insane good show
ОтветитьActually loved this western version of the 3 body problem pretty damn good. Though watch mojo should be a bit more truthful about some of these points. Cause some insane stuff happens especially the alien known as singer and Jin screwing himanity. Also sophon ehhhhhhh well Australia
ОтветитьYOU DID A GOOD JOB
ОтветитьJust read the books......is this really how people get their info now? Don't just wait for season 2, don't go read the books and find out.....no watch a you tube countdown spoiler?
ОтветитьOverall I liked the show, but didn't love it. The casting and characters are so, so unlikable that it took too much away. I hope the characters are better in season 2
ОтветитьWorking my way through the third book now. Already read the first two, but damn it gets dark! I hope they keep the spirit of all of this.
EDIT: Pun intended, I guess lol
Aussies buckle up… we coming. Really looking forward to see what they do with Raj and his plot line, really hope they are able to get to the 4 dimensional hijack.
ОтветитьI read the books last year…. I LOVED THE NETFLIX SERIES EQUALLY!!!! Netflix did beautifully imo… I watched the Chinese version of the show on Tencent, but found it to be soooooo drawl out (30 hour long episodes) and not as deep in characters as the Netflix show….
ОтветитьThe Battle of Darkness, The Droplet, the WallBreakers, and the revelation of the Dark Forest… I really hope they renew the show. It’s such a treat for 3 Body Problem fans to get a loyal adaptation from Tencent as well as a well executed reimagining from Netflix.
ОтветитьQuestion. Why do the Sophons stop harassing the scientists? If they can cover the entire globe, why don't they just kill off humanity in that way?
ОтветитьI kept watching this show to see when it got good and I’m upset I gave it that much attention
ОтветитьI could do without holier-than-thou Auggie, who thinks she's the only one with a moral compass.
Ответить😅 Do yourself a favor... Read the books
ОтветитьLOVED the books! This season one is a great adaptation imo. I like that its switching things up a little bit to keep it fresh. Season 2 is going to be INSANE
ОтветитьI thought it was silly that they picked a Chinese general when China has not waged any wars in so long like did he do good in school or something. I am happy with the adaptation because the books do sound a bit too convoluted and boring
ОтветитьGreat list
ОтветитьThe piece of "paper" event is my #1, though I have no idea how they could visually pull it off without going bankrupt.. Despite being treated to some truly wild experiences in science fiction, I had never read anything like that before..
ОтветитьSophons and Tatiana ruined the show for me, I don't need a second season
ОтветитьSome of these points may be too much of a spoiler for me if I hadn't already finished the books.
Ответить3BP is one of the smartest sci fi series in a long time.
ОтветитьGo for books as Sophons will not allow to get this show renewed for season 2
ОтветитьRelativistic photoids, dimensional strikes and curvature lightspeed engines; oh, and cosmic sociology as humanity’s most powerful weapon
ОтветитьI hope Netflix green lights the next season. Once they do it will still take quite awhile to film so we are looking at at least two years if they’d decide today.
ОтветитьAKA: Top 10 Spoilers on 3 Body Problem
ОтветитьI don't like it when a lot of people view humanity in pessimistic light. there is so much good about humanity too.
ОтветитьThe 2D Foil made me loose my fucking mind when i first read the books
ОтветитьHonestly, 3 Body Problem is easily one of the top 3 best tv show ever made!
ОтветитьNew episodes happen when??
ОтветитьSeason 1 started great but I don't trust the GOT producers writers. They know how to start but they know how to end.
ОтветитьI need moreeee 3 body problems episodes rn 😎😎😎
Ответитьif it gets far enough, i'd love to see their rendition of the solar system attack.
ОтветитьNetflix better renew.
ОтветитьDon't forget Ai AA!
ОтветитьOk I’m sick of seeing her face already
ОтветитьThe Chinese version of this show is so much better
ОтветитьI stopped watching the Netflix version after episode 5, after which I heard about the Chinese version. My god. The Chinese version obviously conveys the scientific ideas and metaphors better (in many cases, the Netflix version just skips them). I thought the nanowire scene was going to be worse due to censorship, but no, it was much more detailed and just as brutal (minus the children being killed, which I'm starting to think was just a cheap use of shock on the part of netflix, after all, those people are Adventists, why would they even HAVE children??). After watching the "locust" speech at the end of ep 30, I decided to compare the two versions- and it was laughable how weak the netflix one was).
Also as a sidenote, it is Hilarious how Tencent is reusing soundtracks from other shows (Westworld and fucking SAW just off the top of my head), but to be frank, I don't even care, the tracks are fire wherever they are used.
People tend to point out the fact that the Tencent one "doesnt show the brutality of the chinese revolution". I get that. But all the Netflix one does is show FIVE minutes of it in the opening scene... Wow, so brave of them, that's so groundbreaking (/s). They also like to say it's more "diverse".... the Chinese one was PLENTY diverse. The netflix one borders on Whitewashing, and I never thought I'd use that word in my life but there it is clear as day.
Auggies that character made me angry
ОтветитьI'm blown away. I love good Sci-Fi and it's so rarely done well on screen because they often simplify it for the masses. But in this case, they've done a great job of keeping it accessible.
The unfolding of a proton and then building a supercomputer on its surface and returning it to its original size (the Cgi was awesome too) is one of the coolest concepts I've ever seen.
I'm obsessed and annoyed I hadn't heard of the books originally (although, they were Chinese originally to be fair)
I can't wait for Netflix to do Season 2, therefore I'm forced to buy one of the western translations of the books and power my way through them.
I spent some time on the Three Body Problem subreddit, and people all share the love of 3bp.
Everyone agrees that the complexity ramps up book by book, until the 3rd is apparently completely mind-melting page after page.
I can't wait!
After 3 months of this video being posted. Still less than <100 comments on it ?
Does nobody else appreciate it or watch the show? I thought it was a global 'most viewed' series for a while? Also it's received 6 Emmy nominations too. (not sure about any wins so far).
That thumbnail tho
ОтветитьThe droplet is probably the most horrific weapon ever, I had to read it twice because of how scary that was. oh I'm looking forward!
ОтветитьIn the 3rd book it's clearly stated that we humans could not imagine a 4 dimensional space, and it's true. For our 3d brain it's impossible to imagine that from 4 dimensional space you could see a 3 dimensional object from all sides at once and also you could see all composing parts inside of it and those parts would also bee seen from all sides at once and so on. This part of the books seems unadaptable in a visual media. It can only be described with 2d and 3d analogies, and mathematically. I have no idea, how they are going to show it on the screen.
ОтветитьLike sophons can't see inside humans mind. It's also very difficult to present a process of thinking and feeling in a visual media. And in the 2nd books there is lot of those things described, which is happening inside human mind. For example Luo Ji imagining of his perfect woman, all his inner monologues and his revelation when he fell through the ice.
