Y husband and I are doing the debt snowball but I’m thinking of switching it up to the avalanche (highest interest) for the next year.... or even alternate where we switch it around as the debts get paid off. That way we focus for a while on a bigger debt but then have an instant win afterward.
ОтветитьMy sister has multiple credit card debts at up to 27% interest 🤦🏾♀️! I tried calling Discover and TD bank to try to get her a lower interest rate and they would not budge. She has never missed a payment. I’m going to try again though.
Ответитьthis is what I'm doing! I hope to be completely debt free in a YEAR!
ОтветитьI have done credit card balance transfer before to pay off balance. The promo interest was reduced tremendously from 24% to 4%. There was other promos for that offered 0% but had to be paid off in 6 months. I opted for the 4% because the rate was good until the balance was paid off. I think they gave me up to 36 months to pay in full until the promo rate expired
ОтветитьStudent loans are the absolute worst debt. I ranted just yesterday with the student loan people why after paying over seventeen thousand dollars over the past five years but the balance has only went down three thousand dollars. And I’ve never been late on a payment.
ОтветитьAbsolutely critical is that you must not continue using your credit cards while you are trying to pay them off. You need to kick the habit of paying with credit and focus on attacking one at a time; otherwise, you are working against yourself and diluting your own efforts.
ОтветитьThis sounds great! Can’t wait to try!!🙏🏼
Ответить"You make too much money to live that way" hahahaha! No I don't. Why do you think I'm here?
