Thanks for this great video. I routinely use Bar Keepers Friend for my sink and I'm glad to see this comparison with the Pink Stuff which I have been wanting to try. I have never noticed an odor with Bar Keepers Friend and I think I'll just stick with it for all my tough cleaning. Thanks for your time commitment to help us all.
ОтветитьScrub daddy products?
ОтветитьI’d have been shocked if anything was better than barkeepers friend. It’s the best 🙂
ОтветитьGreat video and great information
ОтветитьDo you know if there is a difference between the original Barkeepers Friend Cleanser (in the gold colored can💛) and their newer product, Barkeeper’s Friend Cookware Cleanser & Polish (in a silver colored can🩶)? Some websites say the new product, BKF Cookware Cleanser & Polish , silver can, has more detergents and grease emulsifiers. Which to love??? 💛🩶🧽✅🧽✅🧽 🩶💛 Thanks for you upload. Enjoyed your demonstration and others’ comments. Im a new subscriber.
ОтветитьExcellent product demonstration...I was about to switch from barkeepers friend thinking something else would be better...you convinced me to stay with it. Thanx
ОтветитьBar keeper's friend is supposed to be left on there for about 10 minutes, but this turned out fine.
ОтветитьGreat video i use Bar Keepers Works and your right the smells harsh also you need to wear gloves for sure with the bar keepers friend because it makes your hands burn and peel.
ОтветитьI love Bar Keeper's Friend cleaner. I use both the powder and the cook top cleaner and the results are outstanding. I also use the liquid cook top cleaner on my kitchen stainless steel sink. When I bought this home, the kitchen sink had that nasty hard water marks inside each basin. Ugh. I used the liquid cleaner on it and wow! It removed all the hard water crustiness and left the sink looking like new. I use it on the shower doors and around the bathroom faucet and sink to remove hard water spots. The stuff is fantastic. Anyone who hasn't tried Bar Keepers Friend needs to do it. And don't be afraid to use it on glass or ceramic basins. Just use the liquid style (not the powder). No scratches at all, just shine. I swear. Thanks for doing this review of the cleaners. I'm sticking with BKF 👍
ОтветитьOne additional point for BKF- it is the best product to remove marks from silverware that accumulate on Fiestaware or other ceramics.
ОтветитьBar keepers is toxic while pink stuff is not.
Ответитьi never tried it; but i am going to get a drill with a scrubber at the end and scrub slowly
ОтветитьBkf also works great on my tools in the garage. I had some spanners that I needed to save. They came up like new. Wasn’t a hard chore at all. Like both the liquid and the powder. If I need a paste, juste add a little water to the powder. Lovely stuff and versatile.
ОтветитьAnd this is why bar keepers friend has used the same formula for over 140 years; because it works.
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьHow is Bar Keeper's Friend different from other cleaning powders like Ajax or Comet?
ОтветитьThanks!!!;)
ОтветитьBKF is great for cleaning dirty sanded grout.
ОтветитьBarkeeper's friend it great for stainless.
ОтветитьBKF... Is the truth ... I'ma give TPS a run..
ОтветитьI believe BKF advise discourages waiting, just start cleaning as soon as applied
ОтветитьHmm, but you clearly scratched your pan :/
ОтветитьWhat about steel glo (more commonly rebranded as kleen king now in powder form) when compared to barkeepers friend. My parents swear by it.
ОтветитьGreat comparison! Would like to know what #2 and #3 pans are, that are so well loved!!??????
ОтветитьJust use oven cleaner for the baked on residue. Neither one of those products is really designed for the use test you put them through.
ОтветитьThank you! This was very helpful. I will buy the BarKeeper’s Friend! Will also use the Scrub Daddy.
Ответить4.19.24😮
ОтветитьPink stuff is so over rated only made popular by the paid off Mrs Hinch shills
ОтветитьI used to think there would be no diference between Ajax or Comet (Soft Scrub variety) and Bar Keepers Friend. Boy was I wrong! Bar Keepers Friend is far superior.
ОтветитьWOW, finally someone who gets right to the point. Just the facts and no chitchat. Bro ur the man
ОтветитьBarkeepers Friend comes in liquid and it is amazing. No messy powder.
ОтветитьBoth the best
ОтветитьI use Barkeepers Friend most of the time on my All Clad Stainless Steel. I prefer Bon Ami which was originally recommended by All-Clad. Some time ago, Bon Ami became difficult to find in stores. Once in a while it pops up. It just seems to make a better paste and seems to clean better. Could be all wet on that though.
ОтветитьBKF directions say to leave it stand for two minutes. I work it into paste. Lot less work this way.
ОтветитьI'm an addict, I use BKF for almost everything. Does a great job on the toliet rust build up. I used it to strip the rust off my metal kitchen cabinets with steel wool instead of a sanding disk drill, it did a great job and instead of polyeuthane, I used Zep metal cleaner/polish, which gives it a bit of waterproof and incredible shine.
ОтветитьI bought Bar Keepers Friend, and could not use it. It was like a brick inside the container! Even took a long drill bit and tried to free the powder without luck.
ОтветитьDo I have to polish stainless steel again after using BKF?
ОтветитьI use BKF as it's an inexpensive, easy to find cleanser that works well.. But for the tough stuff I break out the (not so easy to find) Zud powdered cleanser. It contains pumice and quite a bit more oxalic acid than BKF and will clean virtually anything on stainless steel. A fantastic product.
ОтветитьI use blue scrub pads. They are not as aggressive as green (a little more effort) but they don't leave scratches.
ОтветитьBarkeepers comes in liquid, too.
ОтветитьI use the liquid BKF on everything in my kitchen. Makes my sink & stainless appliances looks brand new as well as the glass cook top. It takes off literally any burnt on stain. I love it.
ОтветитьPro tip: If you clean pans regularly, it won't be so hard to clean later. Also, Bar Keepers Friend comes in liquid/paste form.
ОтветитьLove Bar Keeper's Friend.
I think their 'Liquid Soft Cleanser does as good, or better, of a job; especially on carbon steel pans
BTW, Bar Keepers Friend is cheaper at Home Depot than Amazon. The only downside is you have shake the container before every use or you’ll get a clear liquid instead of a white cleanser substance.
ОтветитьIf you’re trying to clean the OUTSIDE of your pans, don’t use either. Just spray it with Easy Off Oven cleaner. Let it soak for a few minutes, and then run it under warm water. All the stains will be gone. No scrubbing needed. But if you’re cleaning the inside surface, BKF is the only thing to use, as recommended here.
ОтветитьBarkeepers's friend is gonna win, no doubt
ОтветитьThe Barkeepers Friend in the silver package is a cleanser and polisher and it works amazingly well.
ОтветитьBarkeepers friend is available as a paste.
