Actually the biggest length for a chinese alligator is 7 feet but the average is 5-6.But in the past they got up to 10 feet long.

I love Chinese Alligators, they're such cool little crocodilians.

American gators can hibernate too, believe it or not. They exist within the sewers of New York for example, and have for at least 3 quarters of a century. That's right, this isn't just an urban myth, its been proven that gators live in the sewers of NYC

He's cute! If I lived in Florida and had money I'd get into breeding them to get the population back up. I had bred and kept reptiles for 31 years now. I breed box turtles now. I used to breed ball pythons, corn snakes, king snakes and leopard geckos. I've also bred some frogs and toads and tarantulas.

Definitely a rescue.Notice the very large head in comparison to the body,teeth flattened out from lack of calcium,maybe sunlight also.Not much fat on the legs and tail.Hopefully he fills back out.They're a very cool animal.

Wow.. I had no idea.... American Gators are my favorite animal... I live on the mobile tensaw river Delta in a small town north of mobile Alabama.. we literally swim with Gators down here. Of all the gators I've caught ,rescued and relocated I've never heard of a Chinese alligator.. and it's super cool to see the similarities and differences in the the two ... WOW

This animal always lose a battle against a goose, but sometimes win the duck. In the wild, they just fleed when they meet human being. By the way, they love cookie!

They are very shy animal , the only damaged they caused to human was once a tourist was surprised by a Chinese gator in the zoo and accidentally fell into the lake, there were more than 10 gators in the lake and they got freaked out by the human fell into the water😂

how come you got a Chinese alligator?? That is the Chinese first class protected animal. They are way too calm and chill to almost get themselves disappeared.
