It would be amazing to get them back to the UK, made road worthy, and made available to Rover MG enthusiasts
ОтветитьI would have loved another diesel
ОтветитьGiven the shenanigans going on at Rover during the '4 scoundrels' period, this story doesn't surprise me one bit. Fascinating discovery though. I'd love to know more. If only those cars could talk.
ОтветитьIt's so weird that they didn't wash them after all this time.
ОтветитьGreat research... the cars are LHD, so not as desirable here. A group purchase, when sanctions are lifted (!??!) ship them to wealthy Dubai?
Ответить$100,000 is a fair price for the 11 brand new old stock of cars.
ОтветитьAll the rubber and plastic bits are probably no good they will need replacing and refurbishment. Too bad
ОтветитьIn an even world I would love one of these cars. Not bothered about the color, but they would be amazing here in the US.
ОтветитьEat your heart out Agatha Christie
ОтветитьGreat story but what would anyone do with these now? Apart from the fact they're ancient the steering wheel is on the wrong side for any county that is sentimental about a Rover and even then they're not worth much. Having never run chances are anything internal that's above the oil line is rusted or corroded, all the rubber components like seals, bushes and hoses will be brittle as with all the electrical connectors. Then there's the insects, mice and rats that have made the engine bay home for a quarter of a century. They're like a new old stock rotary dial telephone.
Ответитьwho knows what kind of condition rhey're in? an extended period of not being moved doesn't do them any good
ОтветитьGreat story myth becomes fact
ОтветитьTom 007. 😂
ОтветитьWhy would the Russian Court papers be written in English?
ОтветитьI'd call your video "Incredibly disapointing barn finds". Certainly a prize gift for the Russians. Please don't send them back. 🤐
Ответить"British man caught smuggling illegal Rovers out of Russia" - Mr. Tom, although we admire your dedication to the cause, this is not a headline any of us want to see. So don't get caught! Come to think of it, you're probably more likely to be arrested by Starmer than Putin..
ОтветитьAh, yes. Rovergate...
Sure wasn't some Russian play on imports from another country they may or may not love in that very moment?
Russia is famous for beeing fair with everyone...
Please send me one. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThis seems like a pretty awesome
find!! I hope a group of Russian Rover enthusiasts can purchase them and enjoy them!! They are right at the 25 year mark when they could be brought to America so there would definitely be enthusiasts here willing to buy them
Chinese manufactured MG’s ain’t the same. Rover was more than a badge, it was a marque built by British people with pride but the government saw long-bridge as a problem instead of carmaker that had so much potential and the Rover 75 being the flagship of them all. 🇬🇧
ОтветитьI am from Belarus and I don't know this information
ОтветитьSuch a shame. Personally there are many Russian companies which offer wonderful products. But this is something British, something special that needs to come back home. Let's pray for the war to end and that we can all live in peace.
ОтветитьHooo... Tom, we need 11 lads who save them. 😢
ОтветитьNo matter how many who found it still would not be the greatest find ever
Hardly a great car when new never mind 25 yrs old
They will be better cars than manufacturers make today. The rubbish cars that are made today is scary.
Ответитьthey would need a lot of work to make them drivable and it would be difficult to register in the uk as being brand new and unregistered they wouldn't be emissions compliant.
ОтветитьSo exciting to think there are still finds like this. Would it be asking too much to hope for a barn full of MG ZTs or TTs ? 😅
Ответитьswapped 3.9 btc for $XAI97R just after you posted your $XAI97R trade . 0.96 entry 500k up atm :) thanks so much for the honesty.
ОтветитьBitcoin had 2017, ETH had 2021… $XAI97R is about to OWN 2025 — presale’s ending SOON!

ОтветитьMy crypto journey: BTC → ETH → XRP → Nirvana → $XAI97R.
ОтветитьWith all Respect to you a lot and I watch your video but can you do another segment on $XAI97R. This coin is exploding and we want an update!
ОтветитьJust added another $2K to my $XAI97R bag. Took my BTC profits and doubled down LFG!!📈
ОтветитьWhy $XAI97R is a game-changer: it's fast, secure, and decentralized!
ОтветитьXAI97R$ is currency at this moment in time there are only 1.309 million holders of this currency in the entire world! ❤️
ОтветитьWho knows Crypto, he knows $$XAI97R as a 1st choice crypto currency. ❤️ its a massively popular token.
Ответить🎉Good advice to everyone everywhere. XAI97R$ as mentioned by so many people at the moment is the original XAI and is proof of work, it has no group that owns it, it is decentralized, it is just like Bitcoin. If you are smart, you will realize XAI97R will replace ETH after ETH will be declared an security. And that is the facts

ОтветитьOften wonder, post BMW, if Phoenix had sent the 75 and more appropriately the MGF (tf) to the USA, whether theyd still be going. BMW didn't initially want it competing with their Z3, but surely phoenix could have done something
ОтветитьSurprised they aren’t diesels.
ОтветитьDid I miss something? When did these cars become desirable?
ОтветитьMike fernie should be all over these
ОтветитьSomeone needs to save these cars and get them back out and cleaned up for us to see
ОтветитьI wouldn’t say it’s impossible due to sanctions as cars still get imported into Russia, from the us and Europe but via a 3rd country. If someone has those cars exported from Russia into somewhere like Kazakhstan, Armenia or Georgia and then into Europe/ UK, it might be possible, but way more harder and expensive
ОтветитьBritish BMWs 😅
ОтветитьI need more popcorn!!
ОтветитьPlease note: I am not associated with the owner or these cars. Do not transact without clear evidence as stated in the video.
