The Fifth Annual New York Baltic Film Festival (NYBFF) presented by Scandinavia House returns in 2022 as a hybrid festival with both in-person and virtual screenings on November 2-13. In coordination with the screenings of HOMO SOVIETICUS (Latvia/Lithuania/Czechia, 2021), filmmakers Ivo Briedis and Rita Ruduša, filmmaker Darya Zhuk, and Craig Kennedy (Harvard University’s Davis Center of Russian and Eurasian Studies) joined us for a film panel following the in-person screening at Scandinavia House.
HOMO SOVIETICUS is screening virtually until 13, 2022 in NYBFF, presenting the latest award-winning and critically-acclaimed films from the Baltic region of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
