1951 Porsche 356 SL Gmund Coupe is nicer than this 356.

I’m not even a Porsche guy and the width bugs me. Looks just subtly off.

The car looks good but when you listen to that back Trunk going up and down you can hear the noises. I don’t like it and the closer you look at it you see the problems of the fit and finish. I’m sure he asked Jay for a favor to Bring the car on his show because he just mentioned they need to sell it. They guy now is a father of two and needs to sell the car. I believe this guy “WAS, WAS” as friend of west coast customs! Hahaha

The hump is like a older women, hunched over, I did not like it! Horrific

Honestly the only thing I don't care for is the fact that it's automatic

No wonder the owner doesn't want it after they ruined it with the ridiculous hump at the back, but serves him right to use a hot rod shop for the job. I wonder what it will take to fix it.

This is truly the most beautiful 356 I have ever seen. What craftsmanship and creativity. Ryan has a German name. No wonder he can build such a nice German car, hahahah. As a European, I am a loyal watcher of Jay and Ryan.

I like it with the hard top on. The hump without the top spoils the Porsche proportions.

Maybe putting some homeless people or high school kids to work cleaning up those Cali Hiways would be a good idea. I've never seen so much trash along the road in some of these driving scenes. State management should be embarrassed. Picking up trash is not that hard to do.

No way. They are supposed to trim all of the cayman stuff to fit the original 356. Like how chip foose trim the impala down to fit the corvette c06. The imposter impala.

I absolutely love it. I wouldn’t even care if it was a fiberglass recreation. I think this is a great path for an older Cayman or Boxster. Super well done.

Love the old Porsches. Like a stock one. Would be an interesting comparison. I remember when used ones were relatively cheap.
