What is the process for getting those into the ground? Do they get planted right into the ground at that stage? What do you do next?
ОтветитьYou mentioned the medium as sand? Hmm sand? Is this a mixture or what is your medium ?
ОтветитьDibbler.
ОтветитьHow long did you keep the bottle over the plants?
ОтветитьWhat sand do u use?
ОтветитьAwesome video ty
ОтветитьDo you use straight sand or mix with something like coir? What ph do you plant in? How long do you leave the dome on? Thank you so much for this video. I have watched it over and over and just planted mine yesterday. We have tried several times and nothing but failures so far. This time i'm confident that it will work.
Ответитьmonths later? can I just buy one of yours?
ОтветитьThankyou for explaining it all so clearly
ОтветитьWhen using sand in pots, what do you use to keep the sand from coming out of the bottom of the pot?
ОтветитьIts almost impossible for me here in zone 9 central Florida too find a place that doesn't get direct sun light yet over head light. Ive cooked so many lol
Ответитьthe rooting powder you recommend can't be shipped to my location. I know you live in Washington so do I. curious how r u getting it. thanks, G
ОтветитьIm confused about what the medium is. Is it sand mixed with potting soil? Thanks for this awesome information. I’ve been wanting blueberry bushes but can’t afford them so I want to take cuttings from my parents bushes. Oh I have one other question. Do you water them every day while waiting for them to root? I’ve never rooted anything before.
ОтветитьThanks for this assessment. I'm in Scotland. I'm harvesting our blueberries as they ripen but once complete I will take a number of cuttings from the different varieties we have. I wondered whether the medium composition was that you've used for the rooting? Thanks.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьWhat is the sand soil mix for this?
ОтветитьCan they be rooted in potting compost or is it just sand
ОтветитьYou used sand in this for the rooting cuttings. It didn't look like playground sand. Is there any particular kind of sand that was used? I haven't seen any sand like that available at a store and was curious what I should use.
ОтветитьWhat is the media in the pot? Just sand?
ОтветитьWhat have you planted them in?
ОтветитьWhat is the medium made of?
ОтветитьDo you have to use hormone?
ОтветитьHelllo, what is your medium recipe for the blueberry cuttings in this video? Ty in advance.
ОтветитьNice vid! Good job explaining where on the stem you chose your cuttings. Having done woody propagation professionally, a few points you might consider. Cut 50% of leaf as there are no roots yet to support the leaves. Use a pencil to make hole to insert cutting . Remove some rooting powder from container so as not to cause
contamination of rooting powder!!!
Happy growing!
These tips should increase your rooting success rate!
Thank you for your great video about growing blueberries from cuttings. Once you prepare the cuttings, then put them in the sandy soil in the pot with the plastic covering...How often do you water? Or do you leave them alone on the north side of the house for 6-8 weeks, then check them?
ОтветитьWhat type of soil do you use for your cuttings?
Ответитьthe best rooting hormone is crushed willow. i have a green fence with pussywillows which also work very well. this works with most bushes and even trees. done correctly, you can get near 100% success. i rooted 75 slips last year and lost 2.
Ответитьty , I was surprised the thicker cuttings didn't root!
ОтветитьIt is June and I live in the south and followed your directions. I put the cutting on my covered porch out of the sun. The next morning all the leaves had turned brown. Did I bake them due to the heat even though they were not in the sun?
ОтветитьJust bought my first blueberry bush. Expensive. This is something I will do.😊 thanks.
ОтветитьWhat is the best time to propagate them
ОтветитьIn my hometown, Juneau AK where blueberries, huckleberries, raspberries and salmonberries galore. Im definitely going to take cuttings back home with me. ❤
Ответить❤
ОтветитьNiceee im so excited to try!!
ОтветитьOur blueberry plant hasn't grown much at all in the four years it;s been in our garden. It does produce some berries every year just doesn't grow. Any ideas?
ОтветитьWhat do you put in to make up your sand mix? It looks like there's soil or peat mixed in.
ОтветитьWhat’s your planting medium for blueberry cuttings?
ОтветитьWhat type of medium???
ОтветитьWhat do you use to keep birds or other critters from eating or damaging the blueberries?
ОтветитьWhen would you plant them outside for zone 5B
ОтветитьSo you’re just putting them in sand?
ОтветитьHas anyone used Rockwool ?
ОтветитьHow do let it go dormant? I l8ve in the northeast, in the city. I don't have a greenhouse.
ОтветитьCan you also tell if you prepared the soil for this. I read blueberries like acidic soil.
ОтветитьWhat kind of hormone should I use?
ОтветитьLove your enthusiasm!
ОтветитьHi Can you please share which soil is best suited for blueberries
ОтветитьHow soon after taking the cuttings does this process need to be started? I will be traveling to my Dad's house that has a ton of wild highbush berries, but it is a 10-hour drive home. Is there a way to transport the cuttings to try this?
