I've always felt Patrick was disappointed in Jean for choosing Dorsia. He felt maybe she was different from the people he spends his usual time with, and she ends up choosing Dorsia like all his materialistic colleagues.

I imagine there'd be a dorsia drinking game for this movie.

In the book, Bateman manages to get into Dorsia after a while. And just as you could expect, he doesn't even like it. Perfect representation of the superficiality and shallowness of the characters. It's just a status symbol meant to flaunt one's ego and nothing more.

As someone who frequently has to go to Frankfurt the bank capital of the EU, American psycho has become so much better to me, as a parody about these empty power and wealth addicted freaks.
