I tried watching the Zoids show on Netflix and it's not the same ... At all.

I liked the crab zoid in the original series. That's about it. This show, like many on toonami, came too late for me, I was already an adult and couldn't stand watching it. However, that tanky crab with thw massive miniguns in it's claws was cool.

The first zoid series i seen was the one with the white liger and then i seen this one. Later on i remember watching a zoid series when they fusing together (i think).

The first zoick I didn't like it too much because it was about,duos, but this one like it better it's more adult like you said oll most like Gundam's not just duos like pockiman wish I recommended to the junger siblings, thanks for this video can't wait to see the next one!!.🤖👍

I loved watching this growing up. Also i loved the dub it was good. The only agruement that people give me that its bad is literally just the censorship not the actually dub. Which is what i care about. Censorship doesnt bother me its a waste of energy

Are there official Region 1 box set/complete series DVDs or Blu-ray releases for Chaotic Century (and Guardian Force) and New Century ? I'd love to buy those two shows

I wonder if Retcon will talk about Medabots, because that franchise deserves more recognition.

The best Zoids series there was. I remember coming home from school and couldn't wait to watch it. I even named my dog Zeek.

I'm not really that big fan of Zoids but the 1st and 2nd season definitely my favorite shows when I was a kid.

In the dub, the terrible translators up in Vancouver didn't recognize the katakana-ized German words as German. Hence "Zeke" instead of "Sieg" and "Flyheight" (or however they mangled his last name) instead of "Freiheit." "Victory" and "Freedom," respectively. The subbed version is correct.

I only ever watched Zoids on Toonami when it was Liger Zero. I had a few of the model kits from that one too. Good, better times.

I still use "Wild flowers" as my ringtone to this day. Also his backgound music is from the GBA game...wow GOOD TIMES....😢

I saw some of this on TV before school as a kid and loved it, but my fondest Zoids memory was playing this tactical RPG on the Gameboy Advance. The plot was nutty because it threw together characters from several different Zoids series in a time-traveling, multiversal mishmash. But you got to build and customize your own Zoids which was the coolest shit. It apparently had multiple sequels that never got localized, but I found some fan translations so...

Fun fact: Arcobaleno is Italian for rainbow....Yes they are the fearsome desert rainbow gang

So i didnt finish this series as a kid because Cartoon Network kept changing the timeslot, but i did like this one more than New Century because of the adventure and character growth. Thats not to say NC is bad, I very much enjoyed when i was younger, but this one always had a special place in my heart and knowing the Subs are out there somewhere in determined to find them now lol

Dunno abut the sequels, but I really did like Chaotic Century. Show was pretty good. Honestly, nothing else after it really captured my attention quite as much after that.

The chaotic & new century as well as guardian force were the ones aired in our local channel here in Philippines and it's one of the Animes I watched in my childhood. Even got a pair of Chinese knockoffs and legit build kits (though also Chinese-made) , one each between me and my younger brother

A lot of background lore in this series is this explained in the manga that didn't get quite as widespread a release.

Rosso and Viola, for example, are rescued by Dr. D and follow-on forces who come to investigate the battle between Van and Raven. They tell Dr. D about the whole situation with Prince Rudolph

Had to subscribe. This was one of my FIRST EVER anime in life, along with Sailor Moon. I didnt even know what Japan was. Thanks for covering it and walking me down Nostalgia Lane. A rising star as a creator, for sure.

I remember playing zoids Legacy on Game Boy Advance. It was kind of bland in certain respects and had much room for improvement but was pretty compelling in terms of customizing the zoids and the amount of characters you could have. The design of the world was really Bland. The dungeons were all basically the same in the environments were not very diverse. But the Sprites for the zoids were really good

My friend told me to watch Zoidsnon Toonami when it came out. I guess he told me about it after the original run of New Century Zero, cause when we exchanged notes we saw nothing in common.
Turns out I was watching Chaotic Century. I liked New Centruy, but Chaotic Century was so much cooler to me.
