I can't enjoy eating meat especially fat, in 30 min feel so exhausted that can't even stay awake. Tried many supplements and enzymes, but nothing helped much. I like my beef steaks but only late evening can eat them and fall asleep after. It has been like that for 8 years already.
ОтветитьWhy is it better if the meat is delaying in your stomach longer? For me it would seem its better if your bowel movements would happen more often and you would for example be able to each morning have a complete empying of your colon.
ОтветитьI get it’s easier to digest fatty meat but lean red meats are much healthier for all of our organs. Pancreas, liver, gallbladder, heart. Lean grass fed steaks are a much safer option. Fatty beef only once a week

ОтветитьI just recently went all red meat because of my inflamed leaky gut for the past decade. My pain is decreasing fast and I am now really craving red meat and fat. I eat one meal a day. The meats are organic grass fed and finished. I just mix ground beef, lamb and pork all together and make patties then I put bacon and two eggs with and extra yoke on top. Where I live organic food is sparse and finding organic organ meat is next to impossible. I hope this works.
Any advice is welcomed for healing my gut!

ОтветитьToo much fat in the diet leads to slowed digestion, which in turn can cause dysbiosis if you have a higher protein consumption. That means less beneficial bacterial like fermicutes and more bacteroides will thrive, which in turn isn't so great for colon health (fewer short-chain fatty acids).

The more fat that’s in the protein, the more delayed the digestion is. This means it sits in your small intestine longer, and the enzymes can do their work to help you digest the protein and the fat. If the protein is leaner, it goes through the digestive tract much faster.
What is the benefit of delayed digestion in the digestive tract?

I would super love it if you made a video that went into some detail about food sensitivities. I recently did a KBMO Diagnostics Food Inflammation Test and sadly several things came up, including almonds and eggs. Since eliminating those, I no longer have daily headaches and stomach aches. I'm really curious how these things cause inflammation and why some foods (like egg whites) seem to cause more headaches, whereas other foods cause more stomach aches. I wonder why that is. And is there any way to undo the food sensitives or "heal" from them? For example does addressing leaky gut tend to repair the issue?
I love eating pork and beef fat. Toxins are stored in fat tissue and all those toxins that pigs and cows consume every day from the polluted water they drink, their polluted food that the smog lands on every day, and the polluted air they breathe every second of the day give their pork and beef fat a nice toxic nutty flavor.

ОтветитьIn Asia, especially East Asia and South East Asia, fatty meat are revered because flavour and texture comes from the fat. The breast part or leaner parts of the animal are usually least sought after, whereas the opposite is the norm in the west.

ОтветитьI hate to break it to you because I heard in one of your videos that grassfed beef is better, but I was in college for Agriculture, and feeding your cattle dry corn gluten promotes more marbling in the meat than feeding them grass. Also, corn gives beef fat a nice white colour and grass gives beef fat a yellowed colour (from all the chlorophyll that was absorbed from the grass by the fat). If this information is wrong, then where did my college instructor err?

ОтветитьI've been perscribed an acid reflux med for around 12 years now, how do I know if I still need to take it? The VA does an endoscopy about every 5-6 years the last one was about 3ish years ago. Would taking Beataine Hydrochloride be counter to it? I can not seem to benefit from any vitamins/suppliments I take I still am unhealthy and feel crummy. PLEASE ADVISE

ОтветитьI can't wrap my head around if this guy is worthless to listen to, or good to listen to. If he doesn't have a degree and is not really in the field of nutrition, then he might lack in research and up to date knowledge as well as ability to make actual conclusions on diet advice. The lack of a reference list is problematic. If you teach things that is not the common up to date knowledge, then you should not teach.
