This is by far my most favorite video you’ve ever made and that’s saying a lot bc lots of your videos are favorites. I think I will watch this over, and over again, bc the words/wisdom you shared made me feel like I could compassionately access my need/want to be healthy and work out. This is something I haven’t been able to access in years, especially subsequent to surviving a brutal sa in 2020. Thank you so much for being willing to be vulnerable and share your journey. I truly inspire me and I thank you 🩵✨
ОтветитьEvery time I watch one of your videos or hear an episode on your podcast, I grow a little each time. I can relate to you on so many levels and have been watching your videos for years. I love your rawness and I love not feeling alone with a lot of things that I hear you struggle with too. You're so motivating and I appreciate you! Happy to have you in my life
ОтветитьDo you get full royalties if we buy your books used?
ОтветитьLoved this video, as I love all of yours. And I just realized that all 4 of your guys names end in “n” and I love that.
ОтветитьNever start stopping, never stop starting 👍👍👍🤘
By the way, how old is Bentley now??
I would LOVE to see you in a brunette middle length ! I just KNOW it would look amazing on you❤
ОтветитьAwww Bentley following you and resting on the small cushion🥰
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this video! ❤
ОтветитьI just start going to the gym and I'm finding myself having so much fun doing differents movements !! Love this motivating video, as always thank you Kalyn ❤
ОтветитьCan we please take a moment to appreciate Bentley lol. He is so sweet and go-with-the-flow! Throughout all of your life changes he just seems happy as long as he has a blankey and a warm sunny place to sleep ❤
ОтветитьThank you for being so honest and relatable, I really appreciate that in your content 🧡
ОтветитьFor your hair maybe you could try balayage? The growth isn't too apparent, I had my hair done in January and just had it done again, and my roots didn't look bad at all. Unfortunately it doesn't help as much as I had hoped with the grey hairs, but it would be so much worse with my natural colour 😅
ОтветитьI needed this so much thank u
ОтветитьThank you for the motivation!!😍😍
ОтветитьI really needed this motivation, thank you!!! btw i love bentley he's the cutest omg!!!
Ответитьis there gonna be youtober this year??
🥺🥺
Thank you for sharing this! 😊 Re the hair, I have a spray with chamomile (and a bit of hydrogen peroxide I think) that I put on my hair after the shower in the summer and the sun activates it. 😊 I'm definitely with you re avoiding going to the hairdresser's!
ОтветитьThanks so much for the needed inspiration as always sweetie. I’m on the other end of the spectrum… going through menopause. My body has changed so much. I’m tired I use to be able to do the bare minimum to lose weight or just maintain…not no more 🤦🏽♀️ and I don’t sleep good, but I know I have to change things around and get back to taking care of myself and just change up my exercise routine because my body has changed so much. THANKS AGAIN 😊❤
ОтветитьMore of these videos please! I had my little girl August 19th! ❤
ОтветитьExcellent vlog. Info on the pants? I love the fit & flare
ОтветитьThank you so much for your vulnerability K❤️ it's so incredibly inspiring
ОтветитьLove how realistic and relatable this is ❤
ОтветитьI am just a day or two before my period and suuuper emotional so I was just watching you putting that blanket on Bentley as I am sitting next to my little 14 year old chihuahua and I was remembering how I started watching you like 9 years ago and I was thinking how cute it is that we are still petting our cute little dogs and ohhhh I am crying so much right now. I love you Kalyn. For being a reflection of me and the things I love and also an example for believing in my dreams. Ohhh extra emotional here but yeah ❤ Much love for you and everyone watching you ❤
ОтветитьI am physical therapist and if I love the whole message of this video, I have to say that post-partum return to movement requiers some conditions like :
- a work around your deep core activation
- a connexion between the pelvic floor and your core
- avoiding stretching the rectus abdominis or any exercise that we worsen diasasis recti (all post partum women have that because of pregnancy, then it will heal if the right conditions are there)
- avoiding putting pressure on your internal organs to prevent prolapse.
I know north americans don't have mandatory care for that but if you can, go see a PT. It is important for the rest of your life as a women. Take care Mama <3
I get my hair done every 6 months. I get butter/vanilla light blonde babylights with a shadow root and money pieces. It blends in the few little grays at the crown and front very nicely as it grows and never has a hard grow out line. It does need to be done badly by the time 6 months rolls around, bc it looks more like balayage… but I can keep my hair blonde year round and it looks good all the time as long as I keep up with the purple shampoo. (I started doing this after the profile pic, so don’t use that as reference lol.)
ОтветитьI have Hashimoto's Disease and I have to be careful how much I do or I will flare up. I'm terrified to even move because flares are awful. It also makes weightloss almost impossible, but weight gain can happen just by existing. So I'm just stuck. If anyone on here is also a Hashi warrior and has any tips, please help your girl out because doctors are useless when it comes to this disease.
ОтветитьHey i have been following you for 6 years. I feel you are the big sister i never got irl and im so grateful for the content you give us. I remember i started gysting and doing morning/evening routines with you during 2018. Now in 2024 im getting cozy with your so chilled, comfy and inspiring videos, i feel so spoiled. Thank you for your quality content! Many circumstances changed in these years, but im so glad you stayed and let us grow with you and your beautiful family❤ i wish you all the very best, of course Bentley is included. Seems to enjoy his life in the country and he's always so cutee🥹
ОтветитьFeel like we are on such a similar journey atm! This was so needed!
ОтветитьAfter moving my body, Instead of napping while my baby is napping, im watching your video!
Your videos are so calming
This was so good, I really appreciate your outlook on health/movement/exercise. I would totally listen to a coffee talk from your perspective on how to not compare yourself from a different time in life when you might have been more physically fit and how to shift to be more present. To hear from your journal entries or center prompts around that would be such a gift to us all! Cheers☕️
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this. I am currently pregnant and have had such a hard time staying active. I admire your motivation and your approach to getting back into movement. You have truly inspired me to take a deeper look at myself and really think about why I need to do this. ❤ you are such a great role model.
ОтветитьI love this Kalyn!! Your a MOM! I have been watching you since I was literally in high school, which was back in 2018, when I was getting ready to graduate. I came across your channel, and I am just so happy that I did! You are such an inspiration to me and so many others, and you have helped me through some dark times for sure!! Keep being you <3
ОтветитьLove it so much
ОтветитьFrom a former blonde, just grow out your natural color. I think you will be surprised how much you will like it.
ОтветитьI feel this about bringing ease back into my body
ОтветитьKalyn, what you are doing is amazing. I am 67 yrs old and have been following you for several years. Your body positivity is something us women all need to hear MUCH more. But I also love that your vulnerable talking about your grays
and life foibles. You’re real, and as young women trying to navigate this life as working moms (in whatever capacity) your message is so needed. Please don’t be hard on yourself. It’s exhausting doing what you’re doing. Rest when you can and be your gorgeous self 🩷
Getting back into it is always the hardest part, but you’re doing amazing, Kailyn! 😍 Totally motivating me to hit the gym. 💪
ОтветитьGood morning! I learned about your channel from watching a vid about someone who will not be mentioned and I am so sorry you went through that. But, I love your vibe and what you stand for and look forward to catching up on some of your vids! You are beautiful - inside and out. Of myself, I am a 60 yr old mom/wife/gramma trying to get back into shape after a nasty work accident and particularly want to get into yoga. Thank you for all you do!
ОтветитьI love you stopping and taking time to make a comfy bed for Bentley ❤
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis will be me soon. And I’m so nervous, this makes me feel like it’s do able. Doesn’t have to be perfect every time, and that it’s okay.
ОтветитьI’m sorry, but that moment you took to wrap dear Bentley in that blanket just made me cry. That simple act just reminded me of how I used to do that for my own dog, who passed away 3 years ago, gosh I just miss her every single day. I wish I could just hold her in my arms one more time and look into her loving eyes. I feel so alone without her, and that’s not to say I don’t love and appreciate my family and friends, I value them highly, there is just no replacement ever for that kind of love we share with our dogs, just the look in her eyes would calm me down and make me feel loved and held. ❤❤❤
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThis really motivated me , thank you❤
ОтветитьThis was really good, you're so inspiring ❤
I have watched this twice ngl
This is so inspiring I am so glad I came across your account ❤
ОтветитьI struggle with not knowing what to do. What moves etc
ОтветитьHey Kalyn, I’ve been a silent follower for years, since the first OG apartment in Toronto
I’m a new Mom and I just wanted to say it was so helpful to watch this video as I’ve been struggling to get back into movement … 9 months PP lol …. I’m a first time Mom and the transition into motherhood spiritually and mentally was not what I was expecting and no one gets it until they are a Mom themselves
So thank you for this video of realism ❤️
