and at the age of 20, the heart is enlarged and surgeries will begin. A friend of mine, in his 40s, has heart surgeries a few times a year. A child is supposed to play, not do extreme sports.

Usually kids on all the Parkruns I do have rubbish stamina.
They go flying off ahead of everyone at the start but even after about 1km, they start to flag. I always catch them up.
Maybe they should think of a better race strategy? 🤔

Very interesting video, well done Louis and Mark .......... Both have run at very good paces. Louis looks, at a minimum, to be a future county runner. Louis was able to pace himself so that he was in control of his time in an unfamiliar running situation on a track. That's a natural runner.

What a super impressive runner Louis is. Lets hope he continues to improve. The times will be harder to improve in his late teens. You know somewhere in africa a 10 year old is running 5k untimed in 16 minutes. They are super human athletes as well but Louis has a bright future.

Ich habe schon viele "Wunderkinder" gesehen, die in jungen Jahren mehr trainierten als gleichaltrige. Wenn dann die gleichaltrigen mit 15 oder 16 schneller werden, weil sie auch mehr trainieren, verlieren genau diese "Wunderkinder" die Lust und hören auf. Dieser Junge wird mit 18 Jahren definitiv nicht mehr laufen, weil er die Lust verlieren wird!
