ОтветитьOne thing for sure, I definitely see some 300m Hurdles Area records being broken. The South American Record is 33.98 by Matheus Lima and the North American Record is 34.83 by Vance Nilsson. Both records are from this year and both records are from Brazilian and US hurdlers surprisingly.
Dos Santos is in great shape to run sub 34 considering what he's done at GST & Adidas City Games and that North American Record will be very easy to overtake for an athlete like Benjamin. In regards to the World Record/Best from Warholm being improved, maybe. If isn't too windy, I definitely think it will allow for greater times for those hurdlers by will be an interesting showing of the big 3 across the next few days.
For the 300m Hurdles, I do have Rai winning and the 400m Hurdles later this week, either Alison or Karsten.
Unfortunately I'm not willing to pay $30/month to watch these
ОтветитьAgain the ladies are not running against that invisible thang called "🤮TIME🤢",the bottom line has always been for me "WHO CAN YOU BEAT" when it's time to race, keep your time to yourself 😮, how bout that🤷♂️🤯♨️☄️🎯!!!Amen 🙏!!!
ОтветитьSome little info about Karriem according to Total Running Production he ran a 20.08 in Cape Town I think what was scary is how he ran the race he jogged the final 50-70m
I also had a chat with him and he wanted to try and break 20s at nationals but the rounds got him
Adeleke i would pick , last year open up a euros in 49.0
ОтветитьNo! I keep saying it…JuJu is a PEAKED 10.72 she ran in Paris, not a normal 10.72 runner! She looked as skinny as she’s been in her life in Paris, and she finally ran in a straight line instead of muscular and wide. That was the race of JuJu’s life and she’s lucky ShaCarri slept in the blocks and didn’t give her the business. JuJu cannot run sub 10.73 unless she is fully peaked…she’s not built like that, and most others aren’t either, so no diss to my girl JuJu. Karsten and Rai are tough to call, because Rai has faster sprinting speed, but Karsten gets out faster. My 300MH and 400MH execution is completely different….I go out hard and hold in the 300’s and I tend to get out slow in the 400”s and save it all for my final 120, which is where I pass the folks who previously passed me and thought they had me in the bag! Seeing this from my personal experiences, I feel Rai should win, but Karsten may win due to him getting out so hard and Rai being a stride-length runner over fast twitch, despite being faster than Karsten with foot speed. I am ready to watch…I won’t be betting any money on anyone!
BTW, let’s remember, JuJu has been looking great in her strength work this season. When we want speed, we must do speed work. The body gets use to running slow distant times, and although that endurance helps tons, the endurance training causes the body to rely upon muscle memory of running slow. JuJu will likely give us a 10.85, or 10.9, at best. She’s not a consistent 10.7 runner, like a ShaCarri…ShaCarri is the only runner on the field who easily runs a non-peaked 10.7.
The women's 100mH lineup is so stacked! But I'm rooting for Ackera Nugent!!
ОтветитьMihambo vs Tara Davis-Woodall will be massive.
ОтветитьAnderson, why don't you touch on the middle distance races? I know they aren't the bread and butter for black Americans, but you're a smart guy and would have some good insights into these races that are hugely popular, and historically still relevant in terms of records. Correct me if I'm wrong but Black Americans love chess, despite not having anyone in the top 100. Why constrain your audience to sprint fans? Seems to be a mistake that Michael Johnson is also making.
ОтветитьI most excited for that Stockholm Long jump
ОтветитьI agree. Im expecting a 10.8 to 11.0 tops. I see no reason to run a 10.7 right now.
ОтветитьThank you very much,we are really stepping out to the world 😊 viva mzansi viva🇿🇦
ОтветитьThere's so many stacked events in both meets, I don't even know what I'm looking forward to most, I just hope the conditions are good. There's so much talent in the women's 100mH that every event seems to be stacked, even when there are top names missing. It will be great to see how Julien can do and if Femke can get the world lead, I love the way the big three in the men's 400mH compete against each other so often. I'm also looking forward to seeing if anyone looks like they'll be able to challenge Marileidy and Salwa in the open 400m.
ОтветитьWho cares about Julien Alfred
ОтветитьAt the moment, the weather predictions seem more in favor of Stockholm, but it's northern Europe, that could change any minute 🙂.
Oslo is supposed to be dry with some clouds and about 19 degree Celsius (~66 F), Stockholm is predicted dry, mostly sunny and about 25 degree Celsius (~77 F).
Where different platforms I can watch the races
ОтветитьAlfred will be running 10:82
ОтветитьLove your work man, but be careful about saying all these guys can break the world record. Thats not the case. Karsten is the only man who can break the record either in the 300hurdles or the 400hurdles.
ОтветитьTara jumped at Drake Relays this year
ОтветитьLet’s go Dina!
ОтветитьIkr. We South Africans are fr a country full of baddies. Everyone else needs to step their cookies up fr; we indeed are the A in Africa perioodd!🇿🇦
