Act Man is truly right...if Infinite multiplayer had been made better on launch and not been so infected (pun intended) with Live Service Bare Bones Launchitis which fucked it to hell.

A better launch with real content, the right playlists etc and then a BR down the line? Would have made everyone happy AND led to a live service that worked.

Don't get me wrong, two years later and still no br mode in infinite, and its still thriving as a HALO game. Reason being that it is a halo title. Fans cling to the title not the content because they know exactly what comes with it. Its a fun, team oriented, arena fps shooter. Yes, a br mode would would be an interesting concept in halo, but I think microtransactions is more than enough to modernize the game. Even if its purely for cosmetic purpose. Its a fun game, leave it at that

This is one of the most terribly aged videos I've ever seen. Halo dropped the silver platter and Dr. Disrespect revealed his true motivation for a battle royal. I feel bad for Act Man, but God this is truly a work of art.

It took me years to realize Doc was actually joking and he still ended up being right. I've been a fan for a while but the inside joke apparently goes way back to before I was one. Guess Space Marine 2 needs a battle royale as well😉.

Yeah it took them 2 years to add a forge mode to a halo that they worked on for 7 years straight. Very late to this vid and the state of halo rn is very similar to what the streamers predicted BUT if they had their way it would have been even worse. The game may have had a longer appeal to non halo fans, but would’ve pushed more core fans away. I can think of very few Titanfall fans who consistently enjoyed Apex. It may as well be a completely separate franchise that has official cameos, heck the devs don’t treat it like they have to incorporate previous lore most of the time. The same would’ve happened to halo.

Retrospectively speaking, I hate how much these streamers were right about Halo Infinite. The game indeed did not survive long and if there were actually a Halo BR, the game probably would’ve lasted a bit longer with substantial content

I’m a hardcore halo guy I love games in general but I’ve always thought halo was the most mature out of all the games. Fuck that kid shit, halo isn’t about killing it’s about the story. the multiplayer just expanded the campaign. Thanks for standing up for halo actman
