Your defense of the Disciples having the Spirit differently may have an unintended consequence concerning the teaching of absolution as the breathing of the of the Spirit is linked with that passage in John. I agree with your defense that Matt 13 tells of what the Apostles face but I am not sure I would link the difference with the breathing of the Spirit as a part of that difference because it implies we today cannot Absolve.

Nicodemous52, try an experiment. Record which Bible verses that are selected and by whom. In my past experience, I have noticed people tend to pick from a small selection over and over and over again that correspond with their favorite topics. Another great video. Highly energetic yet tightly focused on the truth to be found in the Scripture, this exposition of Mark 13 hits the proverbial nail on its head and not being drawn into speculations about this tor that sign of The End. The "abomination of desolation," for instance, is speculated to be the Dome of the Rock Moslem temple sitting where the Jewish temple used to sit, and there are others. Bottom line: be ready at all times, and never stop preaching the Word of God. Rock on!

Suggestion about The Abomination of Desolation- The execution/murder of James the Kinsman of our Lord (i think 'half-brother, son of Joseph & Mary', but am not hung up on it) at the Temple under command of the High Priest Ananus about 62 A.D. If indeed James was the last Apostle left in Jerusalem & the presiding Bishop of the Church, then the murder of their leader would have been a major sign to pick up & move out of the City, leaving it to the Eagles of Rome.
