Alatas Waterfall Short Walk 4k, Almaty, Kazakhstan

This picturesque waterfall is located in a branch of the Sarkyrama gorge (Kazakh - waterfall). From Medeu we go up the road to the dam along the eastern (short) serpentine road to the gate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, go through the gate and follow the path up the gorge. After 800 meters from the gate we turn right and after 700 meters we reach the waterfall. Along the entire route you can see traces of avalanches in the form of fallen trees. Therefore, the track is exclusively summer! The waterfall is about 3 meters high. The route is recorded backwards, otherwise you'd hear my heavy breathing, that's not the type of vibe we're here for, right?
