There was an error in my previous video released yesterday (it somehow merged a previous vid with this one). It's corrected now.
ОтветитьI wasn't quite sure about this 500, but da*n it's elegant and classy!! Gshock should do something about their product images on their websites, they don't do the watches justice. I do think they should have included the seconds hand...
ОтветитьI think the bracket links have resin inside, is this correct?
ОтветитьDarn,,, buying a watch, is like buying a new TV, as soon as you get one, they bring out a better one, 🤣🤣,,
Got the 400 on a resin, delivered yesterday, and I'm really impressed,,
(especially for £215, 🎉) are they bringing this 500 out on a resin strap, ??
Could you help me again in connection with B400-1AER (silicone strap version)? I noticed that there's an around 1 mm length white stripe on the right side of the 12 hour index. Is it normal or defect?
ОтветитьI see some downgrading here, and I don’t like that.
-Cheap looking pressed case back.
-Cheap looking glossy buttons.
-1 micro adjust less on the clasp.
-The spring bar adjustment on the bracelet is gone. It is something I liked very much on my B200 and still enjoy on my B5000’s.
-Attaching the bracelet with tiny screws is a weird decision too. The quick release system is much more reliable.
Ask yourself what happens, should you remove and reattach the bracelet a couple of times and you damage a thread?
You can throw the watch away, it will never be as securely attached as it was originally.
While the quick release spring bars, will do their job fine, even after removing the bracelet multiple times.
So, for me, a big no.
I will get myself a B400 and will be happy with it, as it offers more in terms of build quality.
they're just going backwards with these, I'll keep my B300, much more solid, more premium caseback, better display layout (in my opinion)
Ответитьwhere to buy? strap version exist?
Ответитьcasio can not make normal clasp? such shame ! it probably costs less then 10 usd to produce normal clasp ( not pressed) !!
Ответитьolder version looked much more expensive ! those 45 dergee cuts on lugs, one love .!
Ответитьthe new one looks ugly.
Ответитьi got feeling that b400 model is not fully developed yet, bet they come with b500, it is too early. We still have no full gold b400. Still only few b 400 with normal legibility . We still have no b400 with colourful straps . I think Casio is wasting a lot of potential of b400 !!
Ответитьin my opinion, the b500 dial resembles 2100, which somewhat reduces the overall impression, and of course, minus the bracelet mount (there is no second hand despite the technology, but at least the size of the watch fits the average person. my choice is the b400, or the expectation of the b600. thanks for the video.
Ответитьso, I've got a GSTB100, GSTB400 and a GA 2100 (which is on a titanium camo case and strap). I've just ordered a GA B2100, and to be honest, I think the GA B2100 on an aftermarket case and strap makes more sense than the GST B500, and should be around the same money. The GST B400 is really hard to read, as is the GA 2100 (the skeleton one), so the GA B2100 I've ordered has a normal LCD, not the reversed on all the other models. I wanted a MTG B2000, but the MTG B3000 looks much more like an MRG. Love the fact you know what you're taking about, you review as an owner rather than someone who has a watch for a week, keep it up lad
ОтветитьThe lack of micro-adjustment holes made it lighter.
ОтветитьHuge step up in legibility. I may have to research this model. However, I recently received my 1st G-Shock and the 'A' button came broken. So much for durability claims.
ОтветитьStill prefer the 300
ОтветитьThe clasp is rubbish.
The bracelet needs screw links as well.
The watch is a bit overpriced.
Nice design though -
I really like the overall look of the watch 👍
Liked 👅
ОтветитьNice review, I have the B300S and the B400CD so it's more than likely a B500 model will be joining them in the near future after watching this.
ОтветитьCan’t get rcvd off, tried everything, how??? Thanks!
ОтветитьCasio GST-B200D is still the best in design amongst all of the G Steel series
ОтветитьI have stealth version, liked 👅
ОтветитьThat aliexpress watch is way too loose on your wrist
ОтветитьIs it possible to put rubber strap?
Ответитьomg it looks ugly AF. I'm actually impressed how CASIO managed to F up the 5th generation of the GST B line. I love this line from the B100 all the way to the B400. This B500 looks atrocious.
ОтветитьAnd yet again you can't see the digital display as it's so dark just like the 400 so I'll pass......
Ответитьbonjour et excellent review , j'hésite entre cette gst-b500 et la Oak audemar Piguet , laquelle est la plus complète et la plus avancée ? je ne m'y connais pas beaucoup c'est pour cela que je me permets de vous demander conseil .
Merci d'avance .
Thanks for your video! Would they have a similar steel range for ladies you think?
ОтветитьDone .. bought it
ОтветитьMrs just bought this gst-b500 and I can't wait to stick it in my wrist. Beautiful. Thanks for the video and look forward for the review
ОтветитьThank you! Really appreciate your balanced review of the pros and cons. I've been trying to work out why the GM-B2100 full metal Casioaks are 2x the price of these ... and now I know! The Casioaks have:
- Machined folding clasp (vs pressed)
- Solid bracelet links (vs hollow)
- Screw in DLC caseback (vs screwed on)
- Full steel (vs steel and resin)
- Made in Japan (vs China)
- Heavier & less legible
It does make the AWM-500 look like a relative bargain... IF you can find one...
This or seiko arnie watch ?
ОтветитьHommage = copied...
Ответитьevery year the gst series gets cheaper and cheaper. A few minor improvements along the way such as steel lugs etc, but the first series had milled claps and engraved backs and was fully analogue. Now it has turned into some small, ana digi homage to itself with a pressed strainless steel back this time, ewe yuck
Ответитьevery year the gst series gets cheaper and cheaper. A few minor improvements along the way such as steel lugs etc, but the first series had milled claps and engraved backs and was fully analogue. Now it has turned into some small, ana digi homage to itself with cheap negative displays and a pressed stainless steel back this time instead of the laser milled versions on previous years, ewe yuck. and what is the point of making it thinner? if i want thin i can get an edifice or something else. Its a g shock
ОтветитьOn strap would this or b300 be a better daily. Love the simpler dial here but prefer a lighter watch in general ..
ОтветитьI was looking for either a 400 or a 500. Looking at these side by side the 500 is very plain and doesn't look like a G shock so i will aim for the 400. Its a shame they added bluetooth yet only gave phone finder. volume and track skip would have been more useful maybe i can get a phone app to change the finder button to track skip if i double press it. Also i want a used one but people still want a lot for them new i think the 400 is 190 but people want 160 used. black will wear and show the scratches a lot
ОтветитьI bought the gat 110 and haven't worn it a handful of times it's a huge top heavy monster. Love the markers and handset
ОтветитьВ реальности часы выглядят лучше!!!
ОтветитьNegative displays on these Casio's (Steel, Casioaks, etc.) are terrible...can't even see the time. They need to make more displays like the one on the GST-B300SD-1AJF.
ОтветитьG shock's GADA watch! Labouring one minute, diving the next, then out to a nice do in the evening in your tux. All the watch you need. A nice silver pos display might be a nice touch, but the main hand's visibility is what makes this watch.
ОтветитьThis watch is so comfortable and can fit wrist properly
ОтветитьWhy did it spin after opening?? Any explanations??
Ответить
