Have you made it to the zapper stage on Track N Field 2 yet?
ОтветитьJust found your channel! But I gotta say incredible editing and smooth transition footage. Oh btw I never in my years of collecting seen a clean label WWF king of the ring 😂. Always loved double dragon 2! Plus iron sword ⚔️ was a great game I thought back in the day. Tough to figure out but that music is kick ass!
ОтветитьLook at these chapter stops! (Chefs kissy fingers sound)
ОтветитьGood lord, I just commented suggestions on the first of these, not realizing you've done 3 already. That's what I get for being late to the party!
ОтветитьNinja gaiden 3 took some work due to the limited continues.
ОтветитьI thought to my self as I clicked on this video… let’s check this shit out!
ОтветитьI had the same reaction to "Wizards & Warriors III." Being a huge fan of "Ironsword," I remember renting "W&W3" when it was brand new and just...never made it out of that first town. I returned it to the video store and have never played it again. Geez...even the GAME BOY "W&W" was more fun (and that was kinda crappy, too)!
ОтветитьI always alphabetize iron sword as wizards and warriors II
ОтветитьWhich sword was worse? Ironsword or Fox's Peter Pan...? (I'm not typing those full titles out.)
ОтветитьI know you are NES, but Super Double Dragon on SNES is damn good
ОтветитьMan I got to say this is my favorite channel this last few weeks
ОтветитьDD3 was and is the biggest disappointment of my child hood playing games it was nothing like DD2 and it was too hard for a 7 year old and most adults I knew at the time
ОтветитьI actually prefer Double Dragon 3 over the previous 2 and I'm a huge fan of everything Double Dragon And I actually believe Double Dragon 3 is more manageable because the platforming is pretty much gone and after you beat the 4th level you get it continue and continue and the allies that you recruit essentially act as alive so it is somewhat forgiving
ОтветитьI remember playing the first Double Dragon on the SEGA Master System, ages ago, but I didn't know it had NES versions too
ОтветитьI remembered all of these games...accept the one's I didn't. ;)
ОтветитьLol i only ever had double dragon iii so thats all i remember ha. When you said it was obscure that made me go waaaaahhhhh?
ОтветитьI have vague memories of renting The Simpsons games, and absolutely hating them. Just wanted to share.
Also, I love the first wizards and warriors game and really want to get into the other two just can’t seem to
Beside the three Simpson games, there is another NES game based on the Simpson which is called Krusty Fun House.
ОтветитьRealize I'm commenting on an old video, and I have apologize if you've heard it before, but it's pronounced more like "guy-den". Just being a pedantic weeb.
Ответитьninja gaiden 3 was huge in my school and neighborhood like everyone i knew wanted it i had it
ОтветитьI think not so many players know that in Double Dragon 3 Billy and Jimmy have some unique moves. If you run to wall, jump and kick it, you will bounce back with kick. Two players can do 2 combined attacks: 1. Run, jump, kick at your partner. Second player need to punch at that moment. If done correctly, second player will throw first player. It looks the same as enemies can do. 2. If you both do spin kick at right moment you will make double spin kick. Looks cool
ОтветитьDouble Dragon 3 one of the only games I was never ever to beat, the fucking mummy at the end got me every time, but I never thought about finding out a hitstun loop.
ОтветитьI am a Double Dragon 3 apologist. When going strictly off the NES games, I'd say it's the best one. Hard as all heck? Absolutely, but once you figure it out, it requires a lot more thoughtfulness than the first two. Protip - the standard jump kick is actually the superior move in that game, trust me! :D
ОтветитьTrack & field 2 was one of the top 10 most sold games in Sweden. And since the game is not PAL optimized, it runs too slow, but it's better because it makes it actually possible to fill up the speed bars when you need to mash the button. Also, the music sounds better when it's slower.
ОтветитьIs it just me, or did Undertaker's theme in "WWF King of the Ring" kind of sound like the chiptune version of the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" jump rope song? '1, 2..., Freddy's coming for you!'
Ответить"Wizards & Warriors III" is actually a really good game (albeit not as good as the earlier games in the series). You just need to spend a lot of time exploring the areas. It's actually quite rewarding to see how upgrading the guilds lets you explore more and more of the area.
ОтветитьIt’s an awkward moment when you realise your Nintendo game character is the lothario from your mom’s romance novels…
ОтветитьYou'll get a continue after you reach rome in dd3.
ОтветитьOh and yeah. Totally give wizards and warriors 3 a proper try, I highly recommend it.
ОтветитьNinja GAH-iden, not 'gay-den'
ОтветитьAmen to that Track and Field 2 review. One of my favorite games as a kid.
ОтветитьI remember renting Wizards & Warriors III multiple times trying to complete it. Always got stuck at that 3rd wizard's guild trial...those tiny moving platform jumps were tedious AF. Finally managed to conquer it though. Too bad we never got a part 4. The ending hinted at an installment set in the future.
Ответитьheh, the devil guy in w&w 3 kind of looks like the demon Yahzee from the t-shirt episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
ОтветитьThey should re-release the Bart games. The masochists who watch current Simpsons would welcome another dimension of self-punishment.
ОтветитьThe way you pronounce “Gaiden” shows that you didn’t watch The Wizard. 😝 Great video!
ОтветитьIts weird hearing people still call it "Ninja Gay-den" in the modern era.
It's Guy-den, not Gay-den. It's about a Ninja Guy, not about a Ninja who is Gay.
It’s ninja GUY din, not ninja GAY din. That made me crack up.
ОтветитьSince you mentioned the Bartman game and you're a Simpsons fan, I strongly recommend checking out the Bartman comics if you haven't already. They're honestly some of the best comics I've ever read. Simpsons comics are great anyway but those are the best. To this day they make me laugh out loud. There's a miniseries that was published in a couple of trades that comprises the majority of the Bartman material so that's what you should look for. There are a few assorted stories and backup features after that too. The Simpsons Wiki can tell you what you need to know. I honestly rank the Bartman series in my top ten series of all time
ОтветитьNinja guy-den!!!
ОтветитьThere is a technique in Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 for jumping up from the top of a wall grab. Jump away, and immediately swing the d pad hard in the opposite direction. Do it fast enough, and it’s a guarantee.
Ответитьthat remind me i nearly completed ninja gaiden when a was thirten but there was power shortage
Ответить"The power glove, I love it."
-The Wizard
The future was predicted in Wizards and warriors 2, before a bird flew into Fabio's face in real life.
Ответить"He knows Ninja Gai-den."
-The Wizard
