I will never understand why people buy apple products. Form over function with an excessively beastly price and bad internal design to make it as hard as possible to repair with as short a useful lifespan as is possible to get away with as for upgrades on their main computer products, with them soldering everything onto their boards rather than sockets, the bulk of anything with an apple logo on it today is destined for landfill in short order.

I bought a really decent hardware specification Chinese Doogee S86pro mobile phone three years ago for 180 dollars, to get the same level of specifications and performance from an apple mobile today, I would have to spend 500 dollars minimum. And unlike the Chinese phone repairs on apple phones cost a bloody fortune where as I dropped a fridge on my Chinese phone and it cost me 15 dollars for a new screen and as it is built modularly to make it easy to repair, it took me, a complete novice, about half an hour to do the repair, and it is factory new and still rocking along speedily today due to being loaded to the gills with hardware at the time.

I have had the occasional comment when mentioning such that says "but aren't you worried China will access your phone" to which I firstly reply such a person is a complete moron and secondly I would put my faith in a Chinese socialist orientated enterprise over a western capitalist enterprise any day of the week.

Also, notice how apple always shows off an intelligent looking gentlemen in their adverts to push their products, yet they are literally built for a sliver or artist professionals and a majority of simple minded folks who often have never seen a motherboard in their lives let alone would know what to do with one. Buying an apple product is like buying a car with the bonnet welded shut that can only run on 10% of roads available.

I'm happy to report that zero of my friends have ever written me an email in poem form.

Also, even if I did want to receive emails from my friends in poem form, I'd still be very perturbed if they used AI to write it. If I have to read a forkin' poem, whomever sent it to me better have at very least suffered through the process of writing it.
