Thanks for posting, i was a huge Card fan back in the day, the mid 70's teams were allot better than they will ever get credit for. It's to bad the way they alternated home teams in playoffs that never got to have a home game. Jim Hart was a very good QB that is all but forgotten , and that's a shame. Thanks Again great footage !
Ответитьif you cared about your Football this wouldn't happen twice while the baseball team has a new venue
ОтветитьSt.Louis was, is, and will always be a baseball town.
ОтветитьWas that the late Bill Wilkerson on the call of the Vai Sikahema punt return for a TD?
ОтветитьWhere was Pat Fischer?
ОтветитьTo this day, I stubbornly view them as a St Louis team.
ОтветитьFunny, when St. Louis had two teams (baseball and football) so football team consider as Big Red and baseball as Cardinals. Then Sadly, Big Red moved to AZ, and use Cardinals logo again.. I was Fan of Big Red.
ОтветитьSappy.
ОтветитьConrad Dobler one of the more aggressive offensive linemen of all time. Didn't the actor John Goodman play for the Cardinals early 70's? I too remember the Red Birds whipping America's team.
ОтветитьLol the way we were may not have been the ideal song in hindsight... of all the great 70s rocknroll they chose helen reddy?
The music capitol of missouri ?
Many great players, a few great coaches, and absolutely lunkhead owners. Fans deserved better. When Bidwell said "build me a stadium or I'll leave town", the town said "don't let the door hit you in the a__".
ОтветитьNo Dan Dierdorf or Ottis Anderson footage
