I am Brother James Kendall Moore OSB. I am not the Moore of Moore's law. I did have the same idea, at about the same time, and I am also from Texas!!! I buy Samsung exclusively, and I would wait...I am using a Note 10+5G that is over 3 years old. If the new Samsung is $799.00 now, in 6 months it will be $400.00, with/any trade in!!! Remember the other Moores law, computers go down by half, every other year. New computers are double the first year they are out. This also gives you a year, to let them bug fix the new one. If you want the "latest & greatest" now, then pay the man the $799.00, and you can get the new one!!! Or, wait until after new years, and then buy the new one, for even less.

Why would anyone want to buy a phone that's screen has a visible crease in it? Then on top of that, they are almost spending $2000 for it! No thanks, s21 is way better!! When they make a phone with no crease, then I might upgrade!!

Ironically they are offering a bigger discount for the mighty Note 20 Ultra which I'll NEVER let go. I'm simply not ready for a flip tablet.

I'll wait for the S22 Ultra. Have a note 20 Ultra now. Fold has bad battery, mediocre camera system, no place to keep an s pen, s pen can't be used on outside screen.

I traded in a note 9 and got 1000 for it at Verizon and got the Z fold 3.

Question: I bought the Verizon note 10+ unlocked so I could use it on TMobile. I was having major issues cuz it didn't have all of the TMobile bands. I eventually sold it for a TMobile note 10+ and it worked perfect. My question is if I buy an unlocked Samsung phone from samsung, will it have all of TMobile bands?

Just got mine but I traded my Note 10+ to get a discount on mine through Verizon and I love it!

Samsung screwed up in the two areas that I WILL NOT compromise on: storage capacity and cameras. Both the Fold 3 and S21U blew it with only a 512gb option, instead of the iPhone's 1TB, and the cameras on the Fold are a joke compared to the Note 20 Ultra and S21 Ultra. Much as I want a Fold, I simply can't buy one, no matter the price. And if Samsung doesn't offer a 1TB S22 Ultra, my Note 20 Ultra will be the last Samsung phone I buy for a while. ARE YOU LISTENING, SAMSUNG?

Although I hate curved screens I'd still keep the ultra over the flip or fold, that bend in the screen is annoying to run your finger across every time, it may be a big step up from previous generations being more waterproof but it's definitely not worth the swap.

Isn't this due to a surplus inventory that they have on hand and desperately need to purge due to lack of initial consumer interest? Most likely the case.

Knock it off. I wouldn't buy that z fold peice of junk if it was 100 bucks. I've been a note user for years. Had to settle for the s21 ultra 5g snapdragon variant. Love the phone. No complaints. Going to try out the s22 ultra. If it's not up to the note standards, then I'll switch to IPhone.
