ОтветитьOne is water container tank and they put it in the ground and tipped over so it wouldn't blow away. The other ones are septic tank if you don't know that you guys are going to both die out there.
ОтветитьLet's Go Brandon
ОтветитьCome look in Montana
ОтветитьForget Concho ,snowflake ,I dont care for Showlow the wind will so become a real annoyances the time to look is during monsoon season most areas are in excess able and your stuck so have plenty of supply's and propane and gas because if may be awhile. I bought in kingman and I love it right on route 66 just what I was looking for. It's out there dont be in a hurry. I'm X. Roosevelt lake couldn't stand the weekend Part timers and all the arrogant boaters I got 20 acres and very cost friendly for a DOD disabled Vet
ОтветитьLots of good stuff out there on the first one. Like to know whats in the rest of the storge containers?
ОтветитьThe part of Northen Arizona that I went through years ago had a lot of trees 🌲
ОтветитьYou have to have grit to live in N Arizona. 70 plus mph winds, -7 degree temps, monsoon rains that turn the clay to mud, cattle on open range that will damage everything that isn't fenced, unimproved roads that periodically wash out. Rats, mice, rabbits and coyotes abound. Rats, mice will destroy wiring in cars and homes. Coyotes will kill your livestock and pets.
Limited availability of resources like building materials. Limited medical in the White Mountain area. Only one hospital and few specialists. Few grocery stores.
Been here for years.
There is a reason the area has lots of abandoned property up for sale. People come here when it is nice in the fall. They buy property, move out and then discover all the other issues.
That place is a Fing MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьOk, I will weigh in, your video is awesome, great idea going on a property search, you must find what is right for you, #1 you will never find the dream place you have in your head, #2 the place you find may be heaven for part of the year, and hell for the rest of the year, visit the area in all 4 seasons before committing. #3 for all you citiots out there, its not downtown anything to be done will have to be done YOURSELF, i can't find anyone local to help me, they are buzy working for themselves and to wasted to help others, or not capable of helping, contractors expect you to put them up in the closest hotel, and totally support them while they are there PLUS pay them bacon davis wages, bottom line YOU BETTER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO A SALE, #4 all these homesites you are visiting are someone else's FAILURES if they were happy and everything worked out the place wouldn't be for sale, it takes a special person to survive out there, you may think you can do it until you got to #5 people love to drive out in the countryside in the early spring see all the old ghost towns, and property for sale, some people lately think they will make millions on U-BOOB and live happily ever after, i have lived off grid sence 1982, forty years in California and five in Arizona currently an hour from the closest town, i wouldn't live anywhere else, you bet i know what i am talking about i have lived it, in short if you are the right kind of person, you got it, if not you are screwed, out here its total reality, no slack for the weak, nature doesn't give a dam, its up to you to succeed, or not, have a nice day.😊
ОтветитьIf they're asking more than fifty bucks then they're asking too much
ОтветитьThe wind is the problem for me.Too much wind and all the time really sucks
ОтветитьCan you be more specific as to “Northern” Arizona? To me, North is Flagstaff; middle is Sedona and Jerome. Are you anywhere near the Havasupai Gorge?
ОтветитьHi Folks;
I don't know where you live now so your range of searching may be different than others, but someplace you might not have considered (I now it sounds weird unless you have been here), is Northern Arkansas, I looked everwhere before amd landed here. lots of trees amd water, gpod land prices and cities within less than two hours from anywhere. Plus, if you are planning to build, you can do so with your own trees with only a sawmill. If you are interessted let me know. Thhere are also lots of business idea that work in this area.
Skip
Why didn't you say how much the property cost ???
Ответитьthank you for this moment,I enjoyed the ride.
Ответить“Ya don’t know if ya don’t go”!
💯💯💯💯
good thing y’all were there to see that traffic jam‼️ gave us another perspective wouldn’t have seen had you All not gone
GRATITUDE All things work out for Our good
Living in Northern Arizona is not for the faint at heart…
The wind always blows …. If it’s not blowing, that means there’s a problem.
During the winter time, the wind blows from the north bringing chilling temperatures .
In the summer, the wind comes from the south bringing the warm monsoon rains.
Water is always a problem unless there is a shared Private Well.
Collecting water is an option for a livestock .
Sometimes, during the winter time, the roads are so bad that they are not passable .
This means that you will have to wear a rubber boots when you’re out feeding the livestock .
Northern Arizona has some of the friendliest people who always help each other .
Remember to always check for cell and Internet service .
It’s beautiful, living out in a country .
Native Floridian here been thinking about moving out west to Arizona or Montana recently along with Minnesota due to my mom’s roots; loved the video, great information and views.
Ответитьthird one
ОтветитьIs this first video still available
16 Acres with the green container
Last one ,very nice
ОтветитьI've got a 3 bedroom to bathroom mobile on 2 acres off grid north AZ for sale 65.000 no power
ОтветитьIt would have been nice to get a few more facts ie. prices, lot sizes, water availability, power availability,
ОтветитьWhat were the asking prices for these properties?
ОтветитьJust subscribed. We have a small homestead in wickenburg Az. Looking forward to your future.
ОтветитьLol love the Brandon sticker on the truck window
Ответитьu need to save a bit more, you cannot buy clay soil or crap house
Ответитьu need fields not desert
ОтветитьOne thing no one has pointed out is any of the towns with a Doctors Clinic or a Hospital ? That’s a must have available for older Retirees !
ОтветитьThat property with more trees looked promising
ОтветитьNice place where a house an few trees and stuff was. Pretty views.
ОтветитьI’m wandering if those dirt roads turn to slick muddy mess IFit rains there.
ОтветитьKinda nice areas . I’d miss my Kentucky wooded areas !
ОтветитьI just bought a 42 acre piece of vacant land near St. Johns, Az last week.(Under $25,000.00) It has good dirt roads and a POA (Property Owners Association $180.00 year ) which maintains the roads and provides a Water Well nearby ! I'll be headed down to check it out in a couple of weeks. Gonna camp on the property for a week or two to and decide on my Plan of Attack on how I want to fix it up. FJB !
ОтветитьIf you haven't found a place yet, look around Lake Havasu City and Kingman.
ОтветитьWhat kind of realtor lets strangers into a seller’s house unattended?
ОтветитьNeed to be near enough to town for supplies if you are really gonna make it work.
ОтветитьI live in Snowflake Arizona the biggest concern with living out here is the high clay content in the soil if you're not prepared for it you can sync up to your knees
ОтветитьPsssst*, don't spread this around too much, but there are actually places *SOUTHERN Arizona that are at higher elevations above the valley.
Sure, nothing quite AS elevated as up on the Northern Plateau, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, *Flagstaff*...BUT to me that is an advantage, they are NEVER as cold as Flagstaff in the frozen depths of Winter or hot as Phoenix in the height of Summer.
They are mostly *just right*.
Bisbee is up in the Mule Mountains (Mule Foothills if you ask me. There is land around the Chirakowa Forest....even Tucson has a MOUNTAIN with skiing in the Winter (Sometimes!)
I certainly wouldn't go with the first property, far too much junk to get rid of
ОтветитьI would say to try out Flagstaff, Prescott, Globe, Strawberry AZ.
ОтветитьWhat was with all that traffic backed up? Is that a regular occurrence?
ОтветитьLet’s go Brandon 😂 my wife and I are moving to Arizona as soon as we tie up some loose ends, didn’t think too much about homesteading but now you have us thinking.
ОтветитьLemme know if you find Galt’s Gulch
ОтветитьLets go Brandon! God bless you folks. This is exactly the situation I'm in. Very interested in this.
ОтветитьDo the county, assesor, lot search- to verify the seller actually owns it. ! Very easy.
ОтветитьHi guys! Seen like a lot of people are wanting to move to same area. I was considering moving from IL to AZ, TX, FL, some place south where I can farm year round. I am interested in 5 acers or less that I can farm, build small structures without a permit, can live in a RV or van, and hopefully with no septic required. I would be willing to put septic in the perfect location if I had too. Wanting to do rain catchment, have a shed/shop under 200 sq ft, a small green house, pigs, maybe chickens if not to hot for them. Also a good fishing spot near by would be a plus as I plan on catching and smoking fish to preserve and I also want to hunt, trap, forge as well. A wind turbine is an interesting idea for the strong winds. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьHaving lived in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and northern Nevada….I choose the northern half of nevada east and southeast of Reno/Carson city. Ten years homesteading in nevada, and loving it the high plains the weather suits me, plus it’s cheap to live here and you have some decent towns within a hours drive. I believe the winters are milder then northern New Mexico or Arizona and population is far less. Crime is far less, and basically no gang activity as the locals are conservative and work to maintain that attitude. ❤
ОтветитьNorthern Arizona is the Martha's Vinyard of the west you're delusional in trying to just pop in and make a home there. Northern AZ is all ex-CIA and other elite government workers the same as Martha's Vinyard. Does the name Ray Epps ring a bell? Welcome to AZ.
