Cally came in and preached efficiency, he still is by the way, and taking what defenses give you until he was blue in the face. Everyone said but you can’t dial a guy like Levis back too much… and that’s what he’s done intentionally or not. Levis doesn’t trust himself, he checks down every chance and is averaging 3.5 Y/A that’s coaching. Sure the turnovers caused that but good coaching fixes that and Levis doesn’t looked well coached to me. The “qb guru” isn’t guruing. I don’t care if Levis is the worst qb ever we fired a coach everyone claimed could never develop a qb, hired a qb guru and said qb has gotten worst. The math ain’t mathing.

Now cally will get to scapegoat Levis because Levis is playing bad and it’s his get out of jail free card but he wasn’t “afraid of Levis” when he took this job and knew he was meant to be the future. He wasn’t “afraid” going into week one when his plan was to take the ball out of his hands and win ugly on the road and lost. He wasn’t “afraid” of Levis when he ran the same game plan with the veteran Rudolph. He wasn’t “afraid” of Levis today when he said we couldn’t drop back and pass as much bc of bad OL play.

He said today he- “felt good being up 17-10” going into the 4th. It’s just insane he’s saying that stuff out loud and that’s stuff you ain’t gotta read between the lines and guess what he means. He’s telling you despite being 1-2 in close games and coming off a bye against the worst pass D in the league his plan was to win a low scoring game that he hasn’t proven he can win. It’s absolute insanity. I could have swore we fired that guy and cally was here to revolutionize the offense?

Sure he said he’s drawing up deep shots but he INSTANTLY followed that with “but those aren’t high efficiency plays bla bla bla”. I feel like we went from no analytics to analytic paralysis. Cally is so wrapped up in efficiency that it’s reflected in Levis’s play. Levis is torn between feeding Ridley who we now know is a dick about targets and fitting into his new HC’s scheme and in that we’ve seen Levis lose what tangibles made him special and draftable to start. Cally can say levis can let it rip more often to the camera all he wants but I promise that’s not being said in meeting rooms.

They need to get rid of levis I keep telling your ass that if we had mason we would win every game I believe

Levis just looks shaky and unsure of himself out there, he can't read defenses which was his problem at Kentucky. If the coach can see that he is rattled and playing scared why not just put Mason out there so will can see /learn and then bring him back later in the season i mean we're not going to the playoffs anyway but his confidence is shaken

Everything you said is correct but it doesn’t matter since first year coach or quarterback get a pass and the same thing at work the new employees don’t held to the same standards like the multi year veterans

However brian Calahan has his father with him the best OL coach in the NFL which will help winning some games

Tyler no one wants to watch Levis lead the Titans to losses. Fans want to sit down, watch the game and at least THINK that we have the chance to win. Give me Rudolph and the 8th pick IF that’s the case.

I don’t follow the titans last year closely but they had great pass rushers that sacked joe burrow so many times and don’t see them on the team this year

Yes Calli deserves part of the blame for keeping Levi’s as a starter, Calli needs to be a Head coach not a play caller

The Titans next offseason should look at the quarterbacks available in the draft and free agents like Flaco Minnisotta quarterback who is undefeated and from the draft always draft two years plus quarterback with a strong arm and never short or weak arm or one year starter

Looks like all the makings of another puppet/dysfunctional regime in place. Cally clearly wants nothing to do with levis. Ran clearly wants him to play to the point where he traded away Malik willis. Way too early to be talking about a hot seat for Callahan.

I love listening to this as a Colts fan. We suffer from this same thing lol. All off-season we are lied to about how good this player or that player is and then the season comes and of course those players are trash. I think if the media was more honest about the team fans would not be so upset. All I heard all off-season was how Levis was killing it but obviously that was bs. He was obviously killing it throwing screens and dump offs. Then I heard it's no concern this free agents aren't practicing and playing and now they playing bad go figure. Media and anyone talking about these teams need to be more honest in offseason it will temper expectations

First of all, everyone needs to calm down and except that almost rookie QB w/ rookie Head Coach and staff will take a season to gel. Peyton Manning and other great QB's / coaches of the past would never make it in today's social media world where you have to meet expectations week 1 or calls for your firing/benching will come immediately.

Second, Cally has not been calling plays to Levis' strengths all year. He is asking him to play like some imaginary ideal QB he wants Levis to be instead of who he actually is. I'd place the blame closer to 50/50 between them.

Third, your commentary doesn't make sense. If the season is about learning about Will Levis, then don't put training wheels on him. You said he is not doing that because he is afraid Levis will throw a bunch of interceptions? So what! If he keeps sucking it up, let him, and get your top draft pick. If Cally is not on the hot seat, then what's he worried about? Games at least will be more fun to watch as he makes some good plays mixed in with the bad. As it is now, wasting everyone's time.

this was always a rebuild year. The titans spent money to get great players to fill holes that they already had. So that hopefully the rebuild doesnt take as long as a full blown rebuild. With this, I'm sure they were hoping they had something in Levis. But at the end of the season, they were looking to rebuild anyway. hopefully they get a high draft position and maybe sell off some players to get more draft picks.

Here is the reality. This was a new coach, qb and new everything basically. The qb has made mistakes, the defense, the coach, the entire team has made mistakes this entire season so far that has not helped them win games. We can't put the blame on all on Levis without putting some of the blame on the entire coaching staff as a whole. This year is to basically to see if Levis can progress. He didn't have much time last year. This is basically his first full year as a starter. Most Qb's need 3 years in the league and by year 3 if the Qb doesn't show progress then you get rid of them. This one year fix idea is beyond me. So this season was never to be a playoff team even though on paper they look like a playoff team. We knew this going in that this year was basically a learning year not only for the QB but also the Head Coach. SO I say all that to say this.... Just sit back and just look for progress on this team where we will have good games and bad games, but mostly we will have bad games because of the learning curve for the NFL. Face it... this team is not going to be very good this year because its basically a new team from top to bottom and they all are still learning each other and how to play under this coaching staff and with each other. Its not all on the QB folks.

Levis should have like 10 to 12 picks which is crazy and why is a qb with a cannon for an arm under throwing deep throws and he has terrible down field accuracy on his deep ball which negates his "cannon of an arm"
