This product is typically applied before gel coat, to cover a plug, or for moldless construction, this is applied prior to gel coat to give a sandable surface.  You can also wetsand and polish this product to a class a finish, so you do not necessarily have to apply a gel coat over it on a mold.

For in mold construction, you wouldn't typically need a primer, but if you were looking for an additional barrier, you could spray your gel coat into the mold, follow it with this primer, and then complete your layup.

How rigid will this make foamboard? Can it be used with fiberglass sheets on foamboard?

This stuff sands easily and can be buffed to a mirror finish. Excellent product!

absolute necessity for a boat repair shop. Duratech products are like 3m, you HATE to pay for em, but if you want consistency and products that work, you shut up and do it!
