We are always trying to match race these guys because no other FD race regularly at the club. The Nude is normally faster than us around the course but if we have good upwinds we catch up on the work to the top mark. WSC races take us less than 30 minutes so there is not much opportunity to make the most out of the FDs upwind speed. We typically beat the other B14s at WSC but Yellow Bone had a good first leg here and not too far behind. We had a poor start relative to the B14s but managed to claw our way back neck to neck with The Nude. The Nude beat us to the finish well ahead in this race as they are very quick downwind with their asymmetric spinnaker. We had tacked into a knock at some point as seen on the track so that did not help at all. It was quite a light wind day which can be frustrating when the other boats find better pressure and shifts.
