LDS (Mormon) Church Produces Russian Film about Families

Based on the positive response to Church films shown by missionaries in Russian leaders, the Church is producing a film called "Together" that will emphasize the importance of families.

"This film will do a couple of things. It will teach some true principles, show what a family can be. Number two, it will help them understand the principles of having a good family."

The Church is using a Russian production company for this film, led by nationally recognized film director Evgeny Tsymbal. It is the first official Church production filmed in the Russian language.

The film will be shown in local theaters and Church buildings and will be used in open houses and discussions with missionaries.
