I have followed your videos about WDS and MDT2013. Got it all installed and set up. I am having an issue with PXE boot. Server gets an IP address, but no boot file selected. I added the LiteTouch boot images as well. I have attached the screenshot.

We're all on one subnet, and the dhcp and dns roles are on a different server from the WDS/MDT server.

DHCP Server Options I have set is: 60 PXE Client with value PXEClient and 66 Boot Server Host Name with value 192.168.1.10 which is the IP address of the WDS/MDT server.

I am testing using a virtual machine.

Could you show us how to deploy over the network through a bootable USB? I can't do PXE booting with my company's security policies.

You mention in this video setting up your switch with IP Helper configuration to assist with DHCP/PXE boot.  Can you share your notes on this configuration?  I have a VLAN'd environment and DHCP server is on one server, WDS/MDT is on another server, all on the same subnet and VLAN but my PXE boot keeps failing at the DHCP - DORA steps.  It seems discovery and offer works then drops.  Been playing around with DHCP scope settings and this isn't solving the problem so it might by my switches & VLAN configuration causing the problems?

Thanks for your quick response.  After troubleshooting PXE boot issues for 2 days on a simple WDS setup (Virtual WDS Server, separate virtual DHCP server, VLAN & Domain environment, and single broadcast domain) I finally rebuilt the server on a physical computer (old desktop) and everything worked very well.  It turns out my Dell hosts have a PXE setting in the BIOS that has to be enabled to work with PXE boot requests.  I'm going to post on the many forums about PXE & WDS troubleshooting that it is important to remember the basic settings for the BIOS on the hardware when troubleshooting this type of problem.  Dohhhhh!
