This is why Deadpool made that test audience joke about Cable. In Deadpool 2, Cable was just a guy from the future. Whereas in the comics, Cable was born in the present, sent to the future after he got infected by the Techno-organic virus, and return to the present as an adult. There should have been much more buildup between Cable and Deadpool that makes their meeting more worth the wait.

God, the scene was so good. I almost cried. Chris Potter has become one of my favorite voice actors not only did he do the voice of gambit in the 92 X-Men series, but he is a great voice for cable in this show. I really hope Nathan reunites with his parents. They deserved a better ending than this. 🥹🥲💙💚❤️

Future man lives in the past with his heart on his sleeve. Cable family is vital to the future world of what may come. Cyclops and his family history are complicated by the fabric of timelines and his and Jean's involvement and the lines converge with the influence of the mysterious Mr Sinister and his so-called master Apocalypse and possibly the Phoenix Forse and someone else, Kang The Conquer who is connected to Apocalypse. Time Of Future Ever-present. I also believe the Fantastic 4 may be considered a connection to the Summers' lives and their son and daughter are partly related to future Cable Destiny's.
Cable and Franklin Richards are so similar and they share almost similar powers there's Rachel Summers as well. Three powerful children of two families one family born of mutants and the other mutated by cosmic radiation. But maybe these families were destined to be united and connected for the future?
