FIELD PREP EXPLAINED - TUTORIAL - Farming Simulator 25

Farmer Cop,
Any idea how if you combine 2 fields, by plowing in between them, you cant hire workers? they simply wont work. says cant find a field.

Direct drill seeders maybe should have been added to the test.

Hey Farmer Cop, love your content (its basically the reason I play Farm Sim)! Small suggestion; An amendment to the chart to show the weed and stone sizes produced by the prep type could be very handy for newer players!

The final chart doesn't show which leave small weeds and which leave medium. In 22 that did matter because most weeders only worked on small weeds so you had to use herbicides which came with a yield hit.

As a newbie, I dont understand why I would ever use anything besides a plow. Its just as fast, gives a plow state, no weeds and only small stones. Why would I bother with anything else? Is it because you would want stubble tillage so you can mulch it? If thats the case, then why not just mulch and then plow?

At a guess I'd say small stones from the plough is a bug, I'd expect that to be corrected with the first big update

I’d be happy with this game if it didn’t keep crashing on ps5 since it was updated yesterday 11/13 I’ve played roughly 20 hours and had 17 crashes. Crash data and video of crashes reported

Spray herbicide right after field prep, you don't want them medium weeds.

Rolling and mulching adding so little to extra yield it isn't even worth the cost in maintenance and fuel you put on your machines

Three details:
1:Subsoiler have two field state, the Combiplow Gold will leave your field cultivated while the K-Series(Force, extreme, dyno) will leave your field in a stubble tillage
2: Cultivated have a better yield than stubble tillage IF you remove the weed, with weed, same yield, but once weed removed, the cultivated state is better by 5%.
3: Cultivated have small weed while stubble tillage have medium weed, if you don't remove the weed, it change nothing on the yield, but it's good to know to plan properly for the weeding.

the amazone cultivator has a working change (ctrl +y) shallow standard deep

I hope you dig into stones and how worth it is to collect them. They can be used to produce cement, but no idea how much you need, how many you get from gathering, and all that jazz. It seems that if you want stones, then perhaps the spader would be the field prep tool of choice since it digs up large stones.

I'm still trying to find out how to full up the DEF as i cant find it anywhere

What does seedbed do? any advantages?

This is great but is there a best order to do them in? New farmer here!

Also, just harvested sugar beats, what do I need to do to prepare it for a different crop?
