Yay, another Anglo Plantagenent, giving us HISTORY, as usual. Funny how Anglos always want to give us their version of history to try and, ya know, hide some colonial chit!

Go ahead, mate, let's hear the bullchit you create!

You know, you Saka Suni have really pissed off other Scythian Tribes, especially mine!

My ancestors of the Celts, Cherokee, Choctaw, have not forgot!

I hope you have you Scythian Armor close by, because mine is!

Neo-Colonialism, along with the Dragon Throne of your Crowned B i T c H, King Chucky!

I love these longer videos. I'm psyched y'all are keeping them going. The history ones like this are the best, but I'd love to see like a "50 Lesser Known Natural Wonders" or the like. Thanks for the great content, y'all!

Its worth noting that the pagan Norse adapted and worked with native people and eventually joined them.
But later when the Greenland colony failed they where christians and the church banned trade or interacting with non christians or adopting anything non christians thus they lost the ability to adapt and trade and so they died / left

Hitites part of the global trade that also ended in the 1177 BC collapse, the Hitites did NOT have a good water source, that destroys civilizations. ugh...

I'm a big fan of Simon's channels. Have been for about a decade. But his use of his voice, with these deep, almost whispered grunts, has evolved into something quite unpleasant to my ears...

Nabta Playa is in ''Southern Egypt'' only because of modern borders, that specific area where it's found is called the Nubian Desert and fell under the domain of the Nubians for most of it's very long history

These are great intros to some of these civs and I love seeing it on a Whistlerverse channel.

If there’s folks who love learning about these, and haven’t already, I’d also suggest Fall of Civilizations podcast. Even longer form, focusing on just one civilization in an episode, such as the Khmer.

I expected the usual suspects in this video, but was much pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of the Hopewell, a people unknown by and invisible to even the folks who live here. Good job!

Not an ancient civilization (13th-16th c) but i see so few discuss the Mali Empire--which grew from the ancient Ganahan empire. It was renowned for its education (particularly the University of Timbuktu) and so wealthy there's a legend that Mansa Musa (its last king) crashed Cairo's economy with his elaborate spending and gifts when he passed through on a pilgrimage.

The Mound builders and Earthen works that still exist in the States need to be preserved!! I'd like to suggest a Places video on the Raft (the biggest log jam in the US, specifically Louisiana). Apparently, it lasted for over several hundred years!! Milo Rossi(@minimituteman) has done a video on it a while back, but I think you and your Places team could go into even greater detail.

Feels like it might be vacation time in the Whistlerverse, Casual Criminalist, Decoding the Unknown and Brain Blaze have been a bit upload light recently (and still mourning Florida Man Fridays!)

Hopefully these channels are still going to remain active in future, CC and BB especially would be tough to lose!

The chillest feeling ive ever had wasnt from a horror movie or horror game, it was from seeing a partially unwrapped mummy. Logically i knew it was dead, but somewhere else in my mind i wanted the thing to be alive. It had such strange aura about it. It was wierdest shiver to run up my spine. I could see walking through these ruins giving me a a similar feeling.
