BEING A DEVOTED RUGER FAN , THEY CERTAINLY HAVE CHANGED MY MIND !.
I'M TRULY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM 😞, ALMOST TO THE POINT OF BEING ASHAMED OF MY FAVORITE CHOICE !
IT'S REALLY TOO BAD , IT BROKE MY HEART .

Got one years ago as my trapline dispatch tool and that is how i treat it rough and working fine .

What about the Colt 22 caliber Peacemaker?

Got one for a retirement gift a couple of years ago, absolutely love it! Mine has adjustable sights.

Got one on sale at cabelas for 99$. Got the 22 mag cylinder for 29$. Great little gun for the price.

My first RR was a special edition. Came with a pocket knife & WMR cylinder in a blue box for $99.00.

I've had really good luck buying the cheapest gun in the store. The Roughrider with 16" barrel is one of my favorites.

I hate the Safety on mine be careful . that a screwed up safety period .

I bought the 22 mag for mine, its a fun firearm

Mine and a friend of mine both have a variant of one. Both fail to fire consistently. They do not strike the rounds correctly the first time. Most of the time we can run them back around and they will fire fine. Usually happens with 2-3 rounds every time we load them

This gun is honestly underpriced relative to other guns.....based on the quality of this gun other guns should truly reduce their price. This gun is amazing

It sucks doesn't fire most of the time. Not good for a gun fight.

I have a Ruger Single Ten revolver. It's cool, but it can't have a magnum cylinder for obvious reasons. This is the best option.

The FIE make one cheaper looks good shoot just will. Packed around for years in the 90s not all cheap gun are bad

For the price you get what you pay for ,cheap metal parts.

Inexpensive, not cheap, and one of the most fun guns I've ever owned. One FUN GUN, SON!

The safety,trigger and loading gate on mine are plastic. YMMV.

Still love mine. Rides with me on my H modle every time i mow. Some things just keep going.

Can also use a spent 22 shell to dry fire.

I used to make 100 yard hits on an 8 in plate with one. The rear sight was cast poorly and fucked up. But it worked well.

its worth it. and when they go on sale at the LGS, then its even a better deal. I lost all mine in a tragic boating accident of course, so I have my eye on the barkeep version next.

Have a couple of these in both LR, and WMRF. Closer to my Pietta clone of the 1873, SAA in both aesthetics and function than my Super Wrangler, and certainly much less expensive to buy.
I have never had an issue with mine, although I'll caution folks that Heritage customer service leaves something to be desired..
Yes, it has the side lock safety, which some hate, but I don't mind, especially when carrying fully loaded.

Mine had to be fixed after 113 shots. Worked perfect since I glued in the screws. Lots of fun and 2 pheasants.

I had spurs that jingle jangle jingled, but for some reason everyone got the drop on me.

I disagree with everyone I bought one and it starting messing up in just a few months

it is very much about being cool. if it aint cool lookin then whats the point? even the US military has a "cool factor" of sorts when it comes to new weapon designs

Were the WMR rounds keyholing the paper? It sure looked like it compared to the holes the .22LR were making.
