After almost a year and a half of owning my tinker I just now learn I could’ve had a pin the whole time, I was really carrying a Swiss card for no reason

I worked with a file and made my own plus scales for my SAK Handyman. Now my Handyman carries a pen, too.

(I must admit I was investigating which to buy, watched 60 secrets of swiss army knife etc - all left is the affordability to buy one).

I have a cyber tool L which already has both pen and pin, the color of the tool is translucent red, so you could already see the extra empty slot.

i prefer the swiss tech multitool, 4 locking blades and locking tools as well. pliers dont warp easily either and I've put it too work

Pen is also included in cyber model and card (do not know how they named this). Really handy for me.

I worked security in a hotel and someone left behind a swiss army knife that has the pin, the pen, (instead of tweezers) a genius pocket clip that attches to the keyring, and an item you can see in this video, that little gray object inside the corkscrew, a tiny screwdriver. All features that I had never seen in the many SAKs i have seen and owned. Cool that people add to what is already a useful tool. Now I have to check if mine has that hidden channel for an extra tool!

I dont have a use for the pen, if i meed to write something im never too far from a pen, ive seen someone feed a needle in there though with a tiny lanyard to fetch it, interesting idea

Take a magnet 🧲 from an old broken pair of earbuds and it sits nicely in the can opener groove so you can use it to make a compass or simply pickup any lost metal objects.

I had a Swiss back in the late '90s that had pliers in place of the scissors. I loved that knife but broke it when I was working in the maintenance department of a factory. I've looked for another one to replace it but haven't been able to find one. Most useful pocket knife I ever had.

Here's a secret I just learned. Those corkscrew micro bits? They are shaped to fit any 1/4" hex bit driver. And they magnetically retain too. All my life, I had been screwing them back into the corkscrew with tool side out in order to use them. Turns out, you can just pop them in any 1/4" screwdriver...

I just found out I have a pin in my SwissChamp...LOL
