O my god!! It's great
ОтветитьGreat song, one of the best of the album
Ответитьmy favorite flaming lips song...means a whole lot to me...
ОтветитьshaylamarieM that's from punk and disorderly... jajja I thought I was the only one
ОтветитьI love PunkNDisorderly!
ОтветитьMan! Love this. There's a vulnerability in his voice on this. Strikes many chords with me.
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure that most of you all know this song from Peyton's website PunkNDisorderly. And that's probably the reason why you listen to it.
Ответить@LockedHeartxx no, not at all. it's only where i heard it, and i really like it.
ОтветитьI love this song and it reminds me of being seventeen and this profound, ineffable feeling that is different from the profound ineffable feeling I have now; I feel nostalgic for the old one, and this song brings it all back.
ОтветитьDoesn't this song just break your heart? It's all perfect and loud and sad at the same time but it's over way too quick.
ОтветитьIt should be over 9,000 for as good as it is.
ОтветитьThis just made me so damn happy. I almost remember being happy in high school. A pleasant confluence of awesome and nostalgia.
Ответитьi love you petyon sawyer, <3
ОтветитьYes PunkNDisorderly brought me here, but the song in itself is amazing...
ОтветитьAnyone got a safe link for a vinyl version of this?
Ответитьi like the slide guitar in the background - amazing song btw <3
Ответитьwhen i was in rehab, i would play this song and sing it in the hallway, lost in the cloud so drunk all the time, i had my guitar and would play this song over and over, of course there were other songs, but i really loved this one
ОтветитьNot only is this sublime, but for some reason, it also makes me think of an old movie from the 1940's, where a guy is sitting by the shore by the statue of liberty at night, playing this song on the guitar, while boats are taking off.
ОтветитьDemasiado evocadora, tanto cosas actuales como las que se van al baul de los recuerdos por buenas o malas razones.
ОтветитьThe name of the song is my username in Tumblr c:. Love this song and these lovely boys with all my bloody soul.
ОтветитьI swear this song gives off a sense of nostalgia. Like that moment you see that certain someone that catches your eye. And you try to find that person but, alas, they're gone. It's like that beautiful and sad feeling all wrapped in one. And you let it go. Or you post on Missed Connections on Craigslist.
Ответитьthis song sounds like LSD-taken in a big crowd. and ill just say that I love all era of the Lips, but when they had Ronald Jones with all of his amazing effects on his guitars - that was their ideal sound. its what makes this whole record so great.
ОтветитьFirst heard this in Vegas while having a bad mushroom trip. It randomly came on my friends phone while he was trying to convince me to go to circus circus. He was like see even Wayne wants you to go to the circus. I went but kept the hotel comforter wrapped around me the whole time. Surprised no one said anything.
ОтветитьGot all the Lips album immediately after Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev came out. I think Clouds Taste Metallic is the best album, certainly pre-Soft Bulletin but this song is just the best thing they've ever done. It's one of my eight desert island discs. Screamadelica started the fire in me but Mercury Rev, Flaming Lips and Spiritualized, in that 97-99 period, sold me on psychedelia.
ОтветитьCheck out "Sugar Mountain" by Neil Young. There's a connection there, you'll find.
ОтветитьThe first CD I ever bought.
ОтветитьOne of the most beautiful songs ever written
ОтветитьWayne sounds like a kid...
Ответитьmakes me so nostalgic, i can barely stand it
Ответитьgod, that “so if it’s sad, you still got to live ‘till you die” lyric hits me so hard.
ОтветитьIncreible
ОтветитьAfter all these years that gorgeous ending still gets me 😢
Ответить👍"I was trying to find you"
ОтветитьIm here from a cover by lets get out of this terrible sandwich shop
Ответить2022: "Definite Sign that 'You Lost It"'😝
ОтветитьWas listening to this thinking about the recent passing of a buddy I used to go to shows with. It ended up being one of the more sad tunes in the mix. I think the pastoral notes at the end represent the serene process of dying under medication.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьRemarkably dogshit song
ОтветитьAbsolutely have a soft spot this song. So many long nights of drinking just to throw on this song at the end of it all sink in the bed and let it play.
Ответить"There Was A Guy. In The Seat. Next To Mine. Watching The Gurls. When The Cops Made Us Stand In Line"🫵😗😗😗🎶🎶🎶
ОтветитьHeart breaking
ОтветитьThis shit hits me in the feels!!
