I have all these boards apart from standard B6, for me the B5 DC was the best one. The wear and tear held up the best and I found it best firmness for me

I don't think there's a difference in quality between the same board, but in different chains/stores. It is unrealistic even if we know that they do run special packs together at a discounted price(Winmau and Argos). There might be Argos versions of a certain set of darts, but those I would say are also likely just as good QC wise as any other pack of that same product. They might just be able to cut price based on quantity discount, and lesser packaging/extras(for example Fordhams when they would come in the older style of packaging and in 23g only, they would save money on the packaging and sorting and everything cause its all just one SKU, one product in one weight, older phase obsolete stems and flights, but the actual Argos 23g Fordham barrels aren't in any way inferior to a slim case newer pack much more expensive 23g set of Fordham barrels of the same phase). Whatever passes normal QC goes to every store, there's no lesser quality products in the Argos line.

I just got a winmau blade 6 dual core.. it's a really nice board but is soft and I had to repoint my darts to long 42 mm points no issues with sinking to the barrel now lol

I had a couple of friends that tried out the Blade 6 dual core and triple core boards and both were initially fairly impressed, but then told me to absolutely NOT consider buying either of them over a Blade 5 dual core if I could find one, as they said they were too soft and got softer after a couple of weeks. I'm hearing a fairly similar feeling online from people that have used them a lot, but this seems contrary to what you're saying here in the video, so now I'm somewhat torn.

Massive and thorough test Darren. Only, i might have missed something but in my mind i can't help thinking, you speak of firmness when the dart go's in to the board, me i'm thinking, what pressure, be it backwards, would it take to get the darts out the board again, cause i feel like that is the most important issue for it to be a good board. My logic telles me, its not because a dart go's deeper in to the board, it sits really firm in the board by definition. Maybe i'm looking at it all wrong, but than again, I wonder... Still a great review though!

Been playing my B6TC for 2 years now, regularly turning it, it has held up very well. Not even close to getting it replaced and yes, it gets plenty of playing time. I think most dartboards are like ornaments, not aesthetically pleasing if the logos aren’t lined up so they aren’t turned. 😉

Watching The Masters in Bahrain it was interesting to see that hardly any darts on the TC was buried very deep. But most reviews keeps saying they are too soft. Are they using a different version than the rest of us?

Any difference in weight? Any chance B6TC is lighter with the carbon fibre?

Watching it late, but I am very grateful for your hard work making this video. It has been very useful and after considering all the factors, I decided to buy the B6DC. The price is a fair bit lower than the B6TC's price and performance-wise it's a great board!

Got the new blade 6 absolute rubbish the number wire don't fit properly the shamfer is totally different all the way around the finish under the number ring is so bad for 80 quid you should be ashamed will not get another one

I still have my Winmau dartboard I purchased back in 1981, and my darts I bought in 1977 at RAF Alconbury. I haven't used either one for quite a few years. I think I will dig them out of the cardboard box and put it up.

If there is anybody out there that’s got the blade 6 carbon and your not keen on the number ring (like I wasn’t) but really liked the look of the unicorn eclipse ultra sand the top layer of grey off and spray paint it white it looks much better I every went around the actual ring with a fine paint brush and black paint
