Wow, I was so impressed by Kaitlin. So professional and nonjudgmental, but so young. Jon, you kept trying to steer her and get her to badmouth the officials she covers, but it just wasn't in her lexicon.

I had always compared Trump to the Music Man, in my mind, but I never verbalized it and I never heard anyone else refer to it publicly until you did Jon. But bear in mind, the Music Man wasn't power hungry, just a small time scammer. He actually elevated the town in the end, not destroyed it.

She is rude and unpleasant but I guess she thinks that makes her a good spokesperson for the Democratic Party and CNN.

He was elected to the City Council as well. That’s why he had an office nearby Mayor Moscone. Dan White was on the City Council as well. And Dan White committed suicide a few years later, after he got out of prison.

I love Kaitlan interviews. So informative. I think Jon asked a great question about all these reps who have sold out and are now going with everything Trump does with zero morals, how/can they come back from that extreme and get back to the real job of governing they were elected for. Or is this the new face of the game and we aren't going back even when Trump is gone? I hope it’s not the latter.

Jon Stewart used to criticize the fake news cogs of the Establishment wheel, but these days he just cozies up to the Team Blue networks with softball interviews to make them seem human. Kaitlan Collins is NOT a journalist. She’s a willful puppet and anyone with even a partially functional brain knows that. Hence all the bot comments.

But Alas America....When political discourse is reduced to shouting matches, reality TV personalities shape policy, and truth is optional, it’s hard to argue the US hasn’t become a parody of itself. The machinery of power there now seems built more for spectacle than substance. It's in a death spiral.

Why are journalists still thinking pointing out hypocrisy is effective against Republicans? When will they catch on they are not phased by the hypocrisy because they never cared in the first place. They are intentionally lying, they knew going in to it. Questions should be more pointed at getting people to slip up and produce more information than they otherwise would have over getting a hypocrisy gatcha. Leave the hypocrisy gatchas to people like Jon and other late night shows that's their job.
