The odds makers can only throw darts against the wall when it comes to the saints because no body knows how good or bad the saints will be because they have a new coaching staff that includes a first time head coach, a first time OC, and either a 2nd year or rookie starting QB. It would be interesting to take a snap shot of what the odds are now and compare them to how much they change when the season starts.

So we just gonna ignore matchup difference? Just bc someone has a better team on paper doesn’t mean they win, especially on the road. That’s why some teams predicted records vs odds against other teams don’t match up. Also situations matter (rookie QBs, home/away, new coaches, different defenses/offensive scheme matchups) it’s more than just is this team on paper better than that team. That’s not how odds are made otherwise sports books wouldn’t make much money
