pls can anybody show me how to use the nob on the mixer?

I have this unit but I am having trouble creating/programming a fairly quick fade in(2 seconds) for my scenes. I use this for a rock band situation and I want to be able to press the scene and have the light fade in instead of coming in full intensity.
The company I purchased it sent some directions on how to do it but to no avail. Is this something that you’ve dealt with?
Is this controller capable of doing this in manual mode?
