I don't know what the most Aussie thing I've heard could be, but I'm sure it is something DankPods has said. I absolutely love his bogan stories while testing microphones.

Re: VR. Subnautica is amazing in VR (at least, after you install some QoL mods to smooth out the rough edges). It's just the sort of game that benifits from that extra immersiveness.

About 50 minutes in, not sure you figured this out in the remaining couple of hours since I won't be able to watch it all at once, but a couple of completely non-spoilery quality of life tips:
- When swimming, you swim about 20% faster without an item in your hand (obviously not relevant if using the seaglide)
- If you have lots of stuff and nowhere to put it, you can just drop near your base. It won't despawn (at least in single player, I suppose it could be different with the mod). Drop it in a small depression to prevent it from rolling away.

best thing to do is build a land base and it will be safer.

Even now i get the shivers from certain ambient noises in this game, but man i loved every minute of the slightly to short (imho) story it has to offer.

Reapers should be easy to kill with two players, one person uses Stasis rifle and the other stabstabstabs.

Speaking of Subnautica, there's a game very deeply inspired by it but about terraforming a planet called Planet Crafter. Have you heard about it? I feel like it would be slightly disappointing to you due to how air works in it, but I had a blast trying the demo out.

3 best ways to get power in Subnautica: 1) Thermal reactor near a thermal vent or hot area 2) Bioreactor and Alien Containment full of Reginald fish 3) Bioreactor in base near Sea Treader trail. (sea treader poop)

I always prioritize O₂ Tank, flippers and Scanner first, then I craft at least 5 to 10 containers that I drop below the drop pod. It's so nice to have lots of space in the beginning because I always become a stupid hoarder.
I'm sort of like James Woods from Family Guy when he goes "Ooooh, piece of candy", only for me it's more like "Oooh piece of metal, Oooh piece of copper, Oooh five inventories of creepwine and corals".

. . . Yeah, I'm still not used to the character model they used for this game. I know you're not really supposed to see it in game, which greatly alleviates its presence, but eeeeehh. It looks wrong. Cartoony in a bad way. And the hair. Ugh.

I love this. The exact opposite roles in space engineers lol. Subnautica is the best VR game there is too

On the seamoth you can use more than just one cargo upgrade for more than one pouch

If you don't interact with the radio to initiate the sunbeam pickup (you may need to not interact with it at all to get this to work) you can try to get them to initiate pickup after the cannon is disabled; they will not come to get you and instead tell you of the massive debris field in orbit that is impossible to get through

I'm not sure what sorts of "hard" gameplay Capac enjoys vs. finds annoying, but given that enjoys Noita and has previously finished Subnautica, he might want to check out the Subnautica Death Run mod. It makes the game (especially the early game) really difficult in interesting ways, starting with your escape pod starting in one of a number of random (hand-picked) harder starting locations, and immediately sinking to the ocean floor.

It's pretty much inevitable that you're going to die, and in fact has a "high score table" on the main menu where you can see your top 10 attempts, how long you lived and what killed you. That's what made me think that enjoying Noita might be a sign Capac might enjoy it.

Some other changes: the wildlife is super-aggressive, the surface atmosphere is unbreathable without filtering (so you have to actually use floating air pumps and air pipes), and a heap of other changes too. The mod's settings actually allow you to pick and choose which of its changes you want, but your score multiplier is less if you turn off the hard defaults. It's a very different experience.

Lots of grrs and chuckles from Capac in this one, really makes me smile. Never played this, but it certainly seems an interesting game, hope to see you play some more of it... Especially since Capac likes showing you up, although I imagine you'll beat him at that soon enough! Thanks for the giggles!

As a reminder, kind sir, you can hold space when at the surface to float, instead of the bobbing up and down like you do. Just to spend a bit less time at the surface breathing without a sub

This was one of the few games I truly enjoyed exploring and building on. Great game! Subnautica 2 is alright but nothing beats the first experience.

a teaspoon of bleach added to 5 gallons of water helps to kill the bacteria within.

Nitrox isn't mature enough yet. For now, save your time and frustration.

not sure, but I think someone made it so you could get the Sea Truck and it's modules from Subnautica 2 for this one.

Does the story still work in multiplayer or no

Have you and capac thought of playing Skyrim together it is a Skyrim multiplayer mod that as far as I have seen works decently and is being worked on consistently

Hey! Is there many bugs or its a lot better to play with someone? Tried with my friend to olay it but it was VERY buggy, when he joined he appeared in the void or in shallows but he couldn't see any stuff, just floor, and can you tell how did your friend joined your server without any problems?

Man, sure wish they'd update Nitrox for the version 2.0 update... but it's been radio silence for 4+ months.
