Emerald City? Seattle would like a word.

Having visited and enjoyed my time in Charlotte I can get behind calling it the Emerald City! There is another city that currently uses it, but it deserves to be called Gray City.

Bank of America corporate center, but it was completed in 1992!

I think Charlotte has a distinctive culture, history, and architecture as well as the city's overall beauty!

Charlotte is the biggest city in North Carolina! Known as the Queen City!

Charlotte area just seems like one of the most ideal places to live in USA if you consider moving there.

I've never been to the downtown area of Charlotte been to the airport several times from Indianapolis on a lay over would like to visit the downtown area some day. Oh by the Seattle has already claimed the nickname the Emerald city so Charlotte can't have that name 🙄

Im not impressed. This looks like any other US city. Personally I think Tennessee is a more beautiful state mainly because of the beautiful mountains especially in the fall months when leaves are changing.

No one is safe in Charlotte, North Carolina any more. When you are an employee at Cats and you’re trying to do your job but you stop to argue and exchange words and open the doors on the bus and stop doing your job by ignoring the driver beside you and you get shot and die that’s not the Cities fault that’s your fault. Instead of ignoring the person in the car beside you and continuing your job you could have saved your life, but Rivera didn’t. It’s called common sense. So why blame the city for ppl’s ignorance? Every day ppl come across ppl that like to put others at risk of dying remember life is to short to argue with idiots and go on about your job. Like is very short no one is safe anywhere in America nowadays with ignorance in the White House!!!!

Yes, it is a lovely city only Downtown not in the neighborhoods that’s for sure. You have a lot of crime because you have so many blacks and immigrants in Charlotte that get by with so many killings by cowards especially drive by shootings and do to the fact you have a Black Mayor, Black Chief of Police and a Black Sheriff. A Sheriff that doesn’t follow the law when it comes to ICE. In my personal opinion growing up in Charlotte, NC was good then, but now it has so much crime I am so glad I moved out. Ppl are stealing vehicles from Dealerships that in my opinion are probably paid to do this because the owner has insurance to cover the cost of the vehicles being stolen. A very political and corrupt city also in my opinion.

Visited charlotte for the first time this past weekend and I concluded charlotte>Atlanta …..Atlanta is seriously not what it used to be 10 years ago, it became overrated and overcrowded really fast.
