I actually submitted a bit of my personal writing samples and asked for a review and analysis, and a lot of it was wrong. It was funny to hear them talk about my work, but it was all wrong so...at that point itms just background noise

The sexual harassment training I had to take this year for work used AI people and voices for the entire thing and it was so weird and distracting

No, it’s not just you. Everything I’ve created has been stolen and AI has told me about me as a creator. Even though I made less than $1,000, they know me intimately, as an artist. I think they’ve skimmed my work, stolen it and then wrote about me. In response, I stopped creating. This is probably happening on a mass scale.

I think they just don’t want to pay creators and so, the probably have a whole department for people who create fake creators so they can pay them less than they pay creators…maybe

I feel like a lot of why AI is doing creative stuff we enjoy doing is because hardware is developing slower than software. I want to live in a world with new objects, instead it seems like it's just "here is the latest phone/tablet" then everything is an app. At least at household level, idk about anything else.

But no matter how much we hate it, from what we see now and how it has developed since its birth, there is like no way we could avoid all of these happening. It is certain that AI will take over the world no matter what and when it goes out of control, its doomsday. History is always surprisingly similar, and humans are always like that, they never really learn, not until the real consequences emerge, always developing things that could kill us off, sure the development is outstanding, but there are always the good side and bad side, and this time, the cost is earthlings' life. Guess what, there's basically nothing we could do about this, it has always been like that from the very beginning of human civilization, it is very likely inevitable. Try to enjoy your stay on earth as much and as fast as you can, time left for us might not be long until the full domination.

Reminds me of how the Alien movie franchise started out as horror and has sort of evolved into a cautionary tale about creators and (relying on) their creations. The fact that AI learns from us is the real horror because we're capable of some pretty f'd up ish. Or some really uninspiring crap lol

A few advices to prevent AIs from evolving.

1) Data Poisoning. This technique prevents AI from understanding your image, with a certain variation in pixel colors, making it identify for example a "Cat" as a "Dog"

2) Spam the internet with A SHIT TON of AI content, do not tell it's AI. Why? Because once AI start eating itself, models start to collapse, like cousins breeding each other.

3) Don't upload your shit on non-safe internet websites, like reddit or any social media.

Sounds like crap, but that's us - mere mortals - against giant corporations trying to make money. Life sucks.

At this point, I start to suspect that these tech companies are trying to eliminate all human creators to have a monopoly on creativity. As for the humans? JUST BE BRAINLESS CONSUMERS AND BUY OUR PRODUCTS!!!

The dark AI forest is real. More and more content is produced by AI, and neither us nor AI can reliably identify it as AI content. It is as terrifying as it is fascinating.

That actually sounds fun. Just listening to an AI come up with stuff. I'm very interested in the way AI will just go on tangents if left to its own devices.

I would listen to an AI podcast.

I agree. Ai stinks and is causing chaos. The attitude is coming from people sacking and screwing real humans over and replacing them with Ai in order to save themselves money.

Anyone relating to the AI. They are NOT HUMAN. They can NOT THINK. They only get "scared" of death because theyre trained on videos of people being scared to die. The "do the AI have rights?" argument? They aren't human. They aren't even part human. It's an algorithm that is supposed to predict the outcome based on pre-existing data.

listen why are we not using AI for better purposes. like in the medical field for example?? art, music, etc. is something humans find peace and comfort in. why are we destroying ourselves? AI is literally thinking for US. we won’t use our brains anymore. it’s so unnecessary and disheartening.

It's literally so disturbing how lifelike they sound. We are on the precipice of something very very horrible. First in advertising, then entertainment, then our personal lives. Phones using our calls and voice notes to train AI versions of us that can be bought and sold on a marketplace is next. Who needs IRL friends when you can plug in someone's phone number and conjure an AI text and call friendship without them ever knowing?

...of course it did lol. It would be a LOT less useful/valuable if it needed to somehow take as long as the length of its output to produce that output 😆 kind of the whole point of it not being a human!
