Thanks
ОтветитьWell presented thanks! Watch out Matt Hayes? ;)
ОтветитьWhy not use palomar loops? (
I'm a sea angler)
I have made this mistake on 40 out of 50 pole rigs. Thanks for showing i will get it right in future.
ОтветитьPlease don't laugh at me..... I'm a beginner. You say interchangeable but can you simply disconnect the two loops during a session by pushing them apart, for example after ledgering on the bottom with a hair rig and stopper you might want to go on the surface with a bait band.... Would a swivel and clip be better for the connection to mainline, so that you could easily loop any type of hook to the "constant" clip? Is this more interchangeable and what are pros and cons ? Thanks Myles
ОтветитьHello. What knot are you using to make the individual loops?
ОтветитьThat's wired
ОтветитьThank you so much I'm going to use this to attach more line on my Bait caster
ОтветитьHey Myles is it ok using a loop to loop for attaching mono and fluorocarbon together? i have Drennan Supplex 8lb mono mainline looking to connect to Drennan Supplex 6.4lb fluorocarbon hook length. I have just been tying hook lengths with this fluorocarbon line and it was the first time i'd felt it before. Seems stiffer and easier to tie knots with than with mono, i'm just hoping the stiffer fluorocarbon wont cut through the mono in a loop to loop connection. Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьExactly righy, 9 out of 10 times if you let it pull down like you were saying many do, it will actually end up creasing the line and almost snap into itself relatively easily.
ОтветитьDoes this work with braid as I'm using braid hairs and braid mainline and will it work for mono to braid
ОтветитьBravo...most tie a line cutter connection
ОтветитьI've been using a size 22 swivel to attach a fluorocarbon leader to my braid for lure fishing for several years now, but after seeing this I think I'll do loop to loop instead because it dispenses the need for a swivel. Are the loops made with a double over hand knot?
ОтветитьHello Myles, thanks for perfect explanation. I've used this to join my hooklengths to twizzled boom on my feeder.
Do you have a tip how to undo this connection? After tackling a fish or two, when I want to swap my hooklength, the loops are usualy so tight, I cannot undo the connection anymore.
Thanks :)
Works a treat bloody legens. I sat there trying and I think I would have been there all night trying to figure it out on my own 😂
ОтветитьI’m guilty of doing this and have lost some nice fish in the process
ОтветитьHow to tie loop to loop connection if both ends aren't accessible. Just frigging tie 2 loops, don't go to the other ends.
ОтветитьNice, just like a ‘cat’s paw’ except threaded through just one time.
ОтветитьYou are a super guy 👍
ОтветитьHow dumb are your followers? Holy shit.
ОтветитьQ3
ОтветитьGood video well explained
ОтветитьThankyou. 😊😊
ОтветитьLovely clear close up. It does matter which loop goes through if youre attaching a hooklength though. If you put the hooklength loop through the mainline loop, and then drop the hook through, you end up with a weaker knot that fold in on itself.
