One interesting thing I had recently was an upgrade offer from delta gold biz to delta plat biz for 40k points in December, now on that same card I have another upgrade offer for 30k points and $300 statement credit to the reserve. I already had a delta reserve biz too. I think amex very rarely gives gold to plat offers if you have a plat. Never heard of them given for biz charge cards. Hilton ones I think are weaker than they used to be

Most times we hear about the AMEX one in a lifetime bonus and rarely upgrade offers are mentioned. With AMEX cards you can get upgrade offers every time you downgrade a card.

Nice video Matt! That Hilton upgrade offer is awesome! I know you have WOH to work on, but maybe worthwhile to go for the $15k FNA on the Surpass? May not be since that’s a $12k difference, but something to think about. Or just go for another welcome offer hah!

How long after your cards anniversary were you offered the upgrade bonus?

So I have the same Hilton card upgrade offer, do they get any higher then 50,000? As I heard in the past others getting a higher amount or the 50,000 just was picked for me and was unfortunately not meant for the higher offer, or with time will they give me another offer?

Little bit confused because I have the gold and platinum card currently. If I choose to upgrade my gold card to another platinum card, will I have two platinum cards?

I just received an upgrade offer to go from Gold to Platinum for a bonus of 125,000 MR points after spending $6,000 in 6 months. It seems like a good deal. I will just have to switch to 3x dining with the Chase Freedom Unlimited and 5x grocery with the Citi Custom Cash (and Citi Strata Premier at 3x grocery aftet the Custom Cash reaches $500 in a month).

Wouldn't you get more SUB rewards from getting a new Platinum card rather than upgrading the Gold card? For example, you might get 150K to 175K on a new platinum, but only 100K for the upgrade. In one of your videos, you hinted that you might both get a new Platinum card and upgrade the Gold card to a platinum. Is that even possible?
