As an American, I am very offended by that American president joke because it's completely 100% accurate and I'm terrified. Fr tho, it sucks knowing there's nothing I can do about it and the results for the upcoming election are already pretty much a forgone conclusion after Gramps made a fool of himself, because silly orange man has some very spooky plans for round two that are realistically achievable with the resources he'd have access to (like a same-sided congress and supreme court (also the supreme court justices are politically selected positions, and have been for a very long time now thanks to a lot of politician shenanigans, one of many reasons that the country's politics end up so embarrassing and are the laughing stock of the rest of the world)). Not to mention electing a felon convicted under dozens of charges to one of the most influential positions on Earth in the first place.

Sorry for the rant, I'm just scared. I've thought about emigrating a lot over the last 8 years or so, but now it's starting to feel like I really need an out, because a lot of the problems our government's caused elsewhere in the world are finally happening to us.
